That sounds a lot like every one of these trade scenarios where nobody wants to be the first one to say it. Obviously, he said what he had to, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if something is going on behind the scenes.
Stephenson is a gamble for sure with that attitude. BUT, I like the IDEA of trading for him (and his 9M contract) to use as an aggregator in trades as well as acquiring the 2 2nd round picks. Remember, the Rockets GOT 2 2nd round picks in a similar trade when they took Jason Terry off the Kings hands. So, Morey has done this type of deal before.

It's not much different than the Terry situation. The Kings just wanted Terry gone, and that could be the same here with Stephenson. Go look at his numbers, Stephenson was horrendous last year. I mean really, really bad. BUT, the year before he was a borderline all-star. This is a classic case of the wrong team/wrong environment. He has skill, but he needs the right people around him. What could be more right than a team with two established super stars and stocked with supporting players with championship experience?

Oh he's been offended several times on here and said he wasn't going to post info on here again. I questioned his motives on some of his posts (the negative ones) and was blasted by his body guards on here as well as reported. I do however believe some of the rumors he post. The Llull information is all over the place. Looks like he was spot on and Llull camp back out of the deal due to proposed contract issues.
