I thought we were here for the gang bang of the guy who bought more car than he could afford and wanted to compound his mistake? Rule #1 for financial independence: If you can't pay cash for it you can't afford it. OP: Before you protest, how much total debt do you have? Do you have any idea how many years it will be before you are out of debt and are your own man?
Whips and rimjobs? Is this some sort of S&M thing? You might want to peruse craigslist casual encounters.
Are you saying I shoudve payed my q50 cash? That's a lil absurd no? And about my debt. Let's just say I have a credit utilization of 5 % Creditors suggest to have it under 30% so I would say I'm practically debt free. Plus I'm only 24 so by 24 1/2 I'll be debt free. Sooooo idk what you're trying to get it. I obviously can afford it if I have the car and a house payment. Own not rent.
Nice purchase OP on the Q50. I was looking at leasing one recently but ended up just buying a 2013 G37. I suggest to save up for the set you want. The ones I want on mine are expensive but Id rather not finance the wheels while also financing the car. I have been putting a little cash aside in an account I rarely use so I can spend on the car. By the end of this summer I should have enough to do a few mods to mine. Heres what I got: I am planning on putting these on there this summer: Vossen CV-1
This is a fine position to have for your own financial choices, but it's a false theory that has become in vogue that people who have car notes can't be financially independent.
I don't either. And Gutter Snipe, what a pathetic post. Some people chose to finance cars even if they have the cash to pay for it. I do it. I would rather keep the cash in my bank and finance at a low rate and pay it off fast.
Nice g! I miss my g37 Sold it to get the q50.. But I don't regret one bit. And that's a great idea about a separate account to spend on the car. I might just do that. I'm bad with having cash on hand. I'll spend it on dumb stuff like bottle service at the club or strippers! Lol
I know you didn't ask for it/don't want it, but I'm going to offer you my unsolicited advice anyways: If you have to finance the purchase of fancy wheels for your car, then that's a luxury you cannot afford, and you're probably on the road to financial ruin. I'm sorry, I really am.. but I'm really passionate about fiscal responsibility, and posts like this really hurt my finance heart. I mean well.. really I do.
Yeah on the road to financial ruin...... Idk how you can say that if you don't know my financial status.. Like I said before.. I coulddddd buy them cash but don't wanna reach into my savings... I doubt I'm anywhere near going broke or in debt.. My real question was if there were any places that had a big selection of aftermarket rims that could possibly offer 90 day same as cash. No where did I say I wanted to finance them more than a month. I was thinking more like puttin. 3k on them then a week of 2 later paying the rest off... Soooooo sorry but I can afford them. If you wanna put you're 2 cents in then I'm all cool for it. But don't come off as a good money person when the person you're talking about could have more than you.. You never know
So your rims cost 4k. You want to pay the initial payment of 3k and pay 1k 1-2 weeks later. Why not just save up to pay all 4k at once. It is just 1k more. Lol
