Harden needs help at guard position but wants stability in the roster. In this year's free agent pool, we can see brandon knight, reggie jackson, monta ellis, mo Williams, rondo, dragic. I'd say dragic and ellis are the most suitable piece to the rockets' offense system. Yet, it seems dragic is content to stay in Miami. How about ellis then? I think harden and ellis could really be an intimidating combo guards duet in the league. I know he can't play defense, but may be that's the legitimate reason why we still need beverely in our roster. What do you think?
I think the rockets just need a defensive pg but not a true pg. When you have James harden, you dun need any true pg. See Lebron.
THREE and D players are golden for the Rockets Ellis has bad THREE (career .314 / '15 .285) and worse D
not sure where we are getting the cap space for most the suggestions here in the GARM, but I also would love another all-star calibre player, just don't know how you get it when you're capped out
I think Rox have enough capspace to sign a fa up to around 10 per. Any other must come through trades. They have contracts to send out for most pgs in a trade just not enough value.
yeah there is money but the guys i am seeing suggested aren't coming for the prices I am seeing.. I believe we can go over the cap to sign guys we have bird rights for - just on that with the weird way we signed him, do we have Josh Smiths bird rights?
The exact opposite that we're looking for. I'm not saying he's a bad player, he just would have no chance to peform his best attributes on this team. I think the Mavs should give him a max contract
No. Thats why in the event that Llull decides to come over Smith can be signed onky with vet min I think. Not sure if they can use anyother exception to retain him.
thanks, makes sense. I'm intrigued by the idea of Lull coming over, if he signs for most of the MLE, we still have quite a bit of cap space i believe. god I don't know how Bima keeps up with this stuff.
