The entire city is filled with *****ty roads. Potholes everywhere. Patchwork is worse than the original pothole. How long can we go like this?
As long as tires and shocks aren't made of stryofoam? Or when we stop confusing rugged individuality with tax cuts?
I feel you man. I feel like I'm closer to erupting an artery every time my new ride goes over a ****ty pothole. Might sue the whole damn city of Houston
They've been screwed up since before I started driving in '89, as of last month they're still screwed up, and will be screwed up long after we're all dead.
It's crazy. The maintenance of Houston roads is some of the worst I've seen. It's such a stark contrast between here and Boston where I just lived for four years. In the two weeks I've been back here I've hit some insane potholes, mind boggling. And I've seen lots of ****ty patches that are effective for like a month and then it's just as bad as it was before.
Combination of three things First we are on swamp land. Second extreme heat in summer Third this is a rich and thriving city where 18 wheelers and dump trucks are on these roads 24-7
I read an article that a guy in Europe spray painted dicks on all the pot holes in his town. the government fixed them shortly there after.
