As much as we like to rag on Feldman, he has been fairly reliable. Obie should take his spot in the rotation.
Yeah, I don't get why they'd call Feliz up to relieve. Bad timing for Feldman. He seemed to be settling into a groove.
****, this is big. Reliable innings-eater gone. Could put a tax on the bullpen that would have a ripple effect
perfect timing to bring up correa. (i'm kidding) feldman was hitting his stride. hope obie's blister issues go away.
Wait, wouldn't Feldman's injury cause there to be an open spot in the pitching rotation? Why wouldn't Feliz get a chance to start?
Feldmen could be a huge blow, especially if Obie isn't back soon. Excited to see what Feliz is packin though.
Meniscus tears can be a usage injury. Doesn't necessarily require a specific thing to happen. Couldn't Buchanan take a turn in the rotation if need be? Then you could have Buchanan and Feliz set to go on that day.
Believe that's Feldman's next turn in the rotation. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Oberholtzer will start Monday</p>— Brian McTaggart ⚾️ (@brianmctaggart) <a href="https://twitter.com/brianmctaggart/status/604392859081392128">May 29, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm surprised they called up Feliz as a reliever. Teams usually give every chance for a guy to be a starter because of the value of starters. It can be hard to send a guy down if he is producing as a reliever at a high level. Granted, this front office is more "cold" than most in decision making and less likely to let emotions affect decisions.
