ahh so you're saying it's up for debate whether this 50 point man would win mvp. i guess it's not so obvious.

however, if there was a 50 point scorer and his team had the best record even though the rest of the team was scrubs, i'm sure when the nba gave him the mvp award there would be "and i just heard the pope may be catholic" jokes on here, too. no difference.

    b/c he's not half chinese.

For the record, Woods is one-quarter Thai, one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Black, one-eighth Caucasian and one-eighth Native American. Earl is one quarter American Indian, a quarter Chinese and half black. Tida is a quarter Chinese, a quarter white and half Thai. Woods is self-described as a "Cablinasian" -- a mix of Caucasian, Black, Indian, and Asian.

Tiger Woods is half Asian, so it could also be: In other news: Tiger Woods has received the award for being the best Asian golfer! But Michelle Wie is right behind him. :D

Because "black" describes the color of his skin, not his nationality.

Describing the color of his skin, I'd say he's more of a "light brown" to "tan" color

Sheer idiocy. For the record, there were many popes that weren't Christians until they controlled enough territory to wed the papacy. Also, when Wilt came into the NBA (a year late) he was completely dominant. Yes he won the MVP in '62 when he averaged 50 pts. and 20+ rebounds, and dumbasses still try to compare the shockwave he sent through the NBA with the billions Jordan brought in. Jordan got six rings getting calls you'd give your mother. Go figure.

Yao might be the 83rd best athlete in China, how would we know? It's good news for Les and Tim. And Alexander stands to be the owner of the most lucrative sports franchise in the world if Yao can deliver. So for all the guys bashing what people in China may think realize this: for salary cap/luxury tax purposes Yao's a rock star from the by far most densely populated continent of the planet.

If Rocket's fans really want Brand or James or whomever I'd keep an eye on how many awards Yao wins in China and how many more million people start watching him with each year. Les makes the most stupid public statements, but when he said Yao was the biggest sports story in history, he was probably very right. He was talking about money.

Hey guys, this thread is badly titled. It's the 2002~2003 Best Basket Ball Team Make-up award. Yao is voted the most influential player.!!

At least posters know for sure that you are a rude person. Written in your own words.

I would have to agree with that. Yetti seldomly has anything to add except being offended by someone's comments or Cat and Francis are ball hogging undisciplined players and Rudy T didn't know how to coach team ball.
