Well...I know Moochie and Maddox can't dunk...so their verticals must not be too high...

Yao doesn't need to jump high....he probably can't.

Is that how you spell vertical?

Maurice can get pretty damn high when dunking. He seems well grounded when it comes to rebounds though. :D

Griffin is the exact opposite. He can get high as he wants too if trying to block or rebound. But when it comes to shooting he barely gets off the ground.

I know! :D Mo has thrown down some vicious dunks before...too bad his achilles tendons are all messed up. Yeah...his rebounding is something different. Griffin really doesn't need to jump while shooting...his shot is too awkward though. The shot is too flat. And however he shoots it.....it doesn't go in! It would be great if Griffin can just get a bunch of offensive rebounds and cut inside and try to get easy layups or dunks....and show his athleticism.

    Westbury.....you went to Westbury?

As far as the rest of the players..
Mobley-was touted as not extremely athletic, but on some alley oops from steve he got his head above the rims, so it must be pretty good
Cato- Doubt he has more than a 25 in vert
posey-you know he could get up (not giving up hope that hes gone)
rice- this guy had mad hops, now he can still dunk but nothing like the old glen rice
Nachbar- Not sure, havent seen enough of him, supposedly loves to dunk though.

I recently heard that Terry Teagle had a 37 inch coming into the league in '82, but that doesn't help you much if you want the current verts.

    Elsewhere...

...Moochie gives a high five to his barber for a job well done.

...Damon Stoudamire rolls through the airport metal detector and says "hi" to the nice tsa agent.

...Rasheed Wallace's involvement in bar brawl stabbing highly unlikely.

    ...:D

i know he came to the league w/ a 43 vert, then somehow he improved to 45 after a year
