Saw it tonight. Entertaining for the most part. Stifler steals the show as usual. Some really disgusting, twisted scenes. It looked like it was pretty entertaining for the dad sitting in front of us with a 10 or 11 year old kid. I know I was entertained when the kid had to put his hands over his eyes for some of the scenes. I'm guessing his dad yelled out "earmuffs" or in this case, "eye patches".

I can't for the life of me imagine taking a kid to this movie.

any father that took his 11 year old to see that movie has something wrong with them. I mean, all you have to do is watch a preview and you'll see why an 11 or 10 year old shouldn't watch it.

Well, damn...if that's the case just take the little kid to a strip club.

Why take him to a movie if you are just going to make him put his hands over his eyes when a woman takes her top off? What kind of message is that sending?

This is slowly moving into the wrong forum....so i'll try and get this thread back on track. :)

I walked out of American Pie 2. It was one of the worst films i've ever seen in my life. American Pie was pretty good, had some very funny moments. Number 2 was just a rehash of the same old jokes. A big YAWN. I don't think American Wedding will be any different.

Just my $0.02 (or shouldd that be $0.05 Australian?)

It wasn't too stupid, but still stupid funny. Does that make sense? A few misses on jokes, and a couple of parts where the editing was crap, but overall a bunch of big laughs for a crowd. I give it a 7 out of 10.

I love the Pie Franchise and I loved Pie 3.

The combination of absolute gross out, gut busting gags with the very warm and fuzzy sentiment make an enjoyable 2 hours.

Here's a suggestion we have found that makes the movie even more enjoyable: Pack a flask of tequilla and a baggy of limes in your wife's or date's purse. Pass it amongst your friends during the previews until it's empty. Hilarity is sure to follow.

Jason Biggs saying he was done with the American Pie movies is just a negotiating ploy. What other movie could he play the lead in. Just give him his percentage of the gross and let's see American Baby.

Stifler, Seann William Scott, on the other hand, has a trailer before Pie of him in a movie with The Rock that looks pretty good.

Also, the soundtrack of Pie is pretty great. So see it, and remember he's not really eating dogsh*t, it's just a movie.

I liked Wedding better than the second one, although that isn't saying much. It's nowhere near as good as the first one though. Some of the jokes were great, but a lot of them fell flat. It started approaching Airplane! territory at times in that the filmmakers just threw so many gags at you in the hopes that a few of them would stick.

The main reason it's better than the second one is that they shed all the dead weight from the cast(and surprisingly, none of the missing characters other than Nadia are even mentioned) and they actually had a plot this time around. The last one felt like nothing more than a big reunion. This one also recaptured the heart that the first movie had but went missing in AP2.

Also, props to the filmmakers for FINALLY using the song "Laid" in the movie(even if it was a cover version). They've had it in every teaser and trailer for the American Pie flicks, but it's never shown up in the actual film til now.

Great movie - Stifler (Sean William Scott) steals the show - he and all the embarrasing stuff that happen to Jim (Jason Biggs) make the movie. Funniest movie since Old School - those gotta be the best comedies of the year.

    Oh, that's nothin'!

I saw about 5 or 7 children with parents when I went and saw House of 1000 Corpses. Was the most digusting thing I'd ever seen. Not the movie (but close), the fact that adults would bring their children in there (one of whom was around 3 years of age) was absoulutely revolting.

Some of the children were crying extremely loudly at the scary scenes, and the parents still wouldn't take them outside. But the crowd in that movie didn't seem all that upper class...

Anywho, I can't wait until I see American Wedding, I'm a huge fan of the series. I loved AP 2 more than the first, even. Maybe it's just cause I think Alyson Hannigan is the cutest thing, and she was in AP2 alot more.

As far as I'm concerned those are the ONLY 2 comedies of the year.

I saw Under Siege in the theater when I was 10, ahhh, the scene with Erika Eeniak jumping out of that cake is burned into my brain.

It didn't seem to me that they marketed American Wedding as much as they did the previous 2. I was surprised ealier this week when they said "starts Friday" at the end of a commercial.

Children under 12 should be banned from cinemas. They talk and yell, kick the seats, and make a general distraction to anyone else in the cinema.

My personal worst movie experience would be when I saw Fellowship of the Ring, and someone bought a BABY into the cinema. Cried for nearly the whole movie, and eventually the ushers came in and asked for the mother and baby to leave. Terrible.

Bruce Almighty actually was pretty good. Old School became one of my favorite movies of all time though.:)
