He has the 2 worst turnover totals in elimination games of all time. 13 and 10. Seriously, why he has the ball so damned much is baffling - get a PG and take the ball out of his hands - let him play off the ball more often. DD
I don't see the point of another thread about this. There are already 3 or 4 on the front page addressing this topic.
He couldn't reach 13 turnovers in the Western Conference Finals without leading the Rockets that far This only proves we need a point guard
He's terrible handling the ball down the court and also makes some really stupid and careless passes. For once DD is right.
It's a catch 22. Harden is best going down hill with some momentum handling the ball. You aren't utilizing his talents when he plays off the ball.
At one point we had Lowry AND Dragic... If this current era of Harden&Dwight don't win a ring, I'm pointing the blame on letting those two go.
Harden had too many choke games in playoffs year after year. I think it has something to do with his personality.
He can play just fine off the ball though. Did it in OKC and did it some with Lin with the ball in his hands.
He didn't look poised or confident tonight, just really out of control, like he was psyched out. I think he tried too hard to draw fouls and the refs just weren't calling them. He could have easily scored 20+ tonight on fouls alone. But his decision making was non-existent. It was like he was a bull in a china shop.

tinman, i know you're a harden fan. but still, it's incredible how fandom can blind one's eyes, sometimes. chill.
I'm not worried about it. The Rockets were in it just until about the end. If Harden wasn't aggressive, we would have definitely lost. At least he gave us a chance.
Wasn't this the conundrum when Lin was here? Redundant next to Harden, etc. It's the whole reason his ass got benched for Bev because Bev allowed Harden to take the PG duties and compensated for his defensive shortcomings. I don't think any starting caliber playmaking PG would want to play next to James. Would probably have to look for a DJ Augustin/Cory Joseph caliber player.
