It's the Clippers series game 7 staff, almost. Not sure what to say except Mauer killed us regular season. Could go either way

I don't think we've lost a game when our fans complain about the refs before it has started. You guys mistake incompetent refs with biased refs. Every team gets shafted eventually.

Hahahahah typical. It's a complete joke when Ken Mauer is your BEST hope of calling a fair and balanced game. Tony Brothers and Ed Malloy are literally the two worst referees in the league, and it's not even close. The fact that they continue to work meaningful games in the playoffs just shows how horrific the younger refs in the league actually are.

Ken Mauer is one of few refs that called more fouls on the home team than the away team in the regular season (55 games, nice sample size). As such, the road team actually won more games that Mauer called, unfortunately, those stats don't hold true for the other two refs.

Roughly 0.5 technical called per game on the road team by the refs combined......so cross your fingers for Dwight.

I don't think it's that bad really. It's better than having guys that stand on the baseline like statues and don't call fouls (Danny Crawford).

Stats don't really support that, the two call roughly 40 fouls per game, which is about league average, while Tony Brothers' games are at roughly 42 fouls per game, slightly higher than average but not one of the highest in the league (using reg season stats since sample size is higher).

Gotta play well enough to win regardless how bad or good the officiating might be.

I don't think the raw data, especially 1-2 more fouls called per game, tells us anything significant when there are so many factors that go into calling a foul.

I do know that the team is 24-22 when Harden shoots less than 10 FTA, and officials like D.Crawford that swallow their whistle obviously hurt their chances of winning (WCF game one comes to mind). While K.Mauer is similar, I think T.Brothers can offset some of that because Harden did shoot 18 FTA game 7 against the Clippers when they officiated together.

Since Malloy and Mauer have given out laughable technical fouls in the past, Dwight needs to be very careful. That may be the biggest concern.
