If we had Bev we probably steal one of the first 2 games.

Agreed. Honestly, with bev and dmo, we probably win the first 2

Yeah, I was mistaken. Harden did the cooking celebration. I'm glad he isn't acknowledging the curse. I'm a superstitious ******* though.

The stat you are referring to is called GameScore, it's a nice little stat from BBRef that tries to measure the impact a player had on the game based on his box-score stats.

Harden threw up a 41.0 GmSc last night. That's the best since Dirk went HAM against the Thunder in '11 (48 pts on 12-15 shooting, COT DAMN) for a 46.5 GmScore. Harden's Game 2 saw a 38.7 GmScore from him.

Players who have Multiple 38.7+ Game Scores in a Single series (since '85)
'89 Jordan vs. Knicks (On back-to-back nights, just silly how good he was)
'93 Barkley vs. Sonics (One of the great individual NBA series, arguably the GOAT Game 7 performance 44/24 on .741 TS%)
'95 KJ vs. Rockets (Wow haha, people forget what a freak he was)
    '15 Harden vs. Warriors

Only 1 MJ series, no Kobe/LeBron/Shaq/Duncan/Dirk series.

This is admittedly a pretty basic metric/stat. So take it with a grain of salt, numbers will never tell the whole story on a basketball court.

That being said, what James has done in this series has been spectacular even taking into account the Game 3 stinker. His Game 2 and Game 4 performances were absolute masterpieces. I've never seen him play at a higher level than he has in those 2 games. And he's doing this against the #1 rated D in the sport!!!!!!

"Playoff Harden" used to be an insult his haters would throw around. "He always stinks in the playoffs against good D's because he doesn't get calls!" is what we'd hear over and over again these past couple of years. Well, that can no longer be an insult after what he has done to the Warriors (67 wins, #1 D) in this series.

Sure, it is extremely unlikely to happen, but someday a team is going to be down 3-0 and they are going to come back and win a playoff series in 7. Why not the Rockets?

Did the rockets win last night or was the game canceled after Curry got hurt? Watching ESPN and can't tell.

I almost want the lakers to be relevent again just so I don't have to Hear about curry and these warriors so much. Atleast with the lakers we've known they are a good franchise for 30 years. These warriors you would think are going for a 3 peat not being in their first WCF just like the rockets in the harden/curry era.
