any 1 else figured it out? i was on 86 % but now i found the two hidden keys to the investigation and i got it? jus wonderin if any1 else got them? dont feel like typing the whole thing here, but if u found the other 2 things , not the 6 pieces of evidence, but the other 2
Nope, I havent found the other 2 things??? SF did it tho right? e-mail me the clues, or just say them.
It's a Reebok promo that Francis is part of. I don't see how it is possible to "solve" it until after they have the J-Rich and Francis interviews. The point isn't to be the first one to solve it, everybody who plays it will solve it and then they'll have their names submitted to a drawing. They could skip the whole thing and just have people register to win, if there even is a prize for this, but they'd rather hold people's attention for a month.
well its j rich, and i dont know what shoes yet, i gotta take the printoout to a retailer and they tell u waht shoe it was. im not sayin the 2 clues right now , but i'll tell u 100% sure its j rich
So what do you have to do to be able to guess who solved it? Can you give us hints on those clues you found? I've worked on it for too long and can't find anything new.
ya, it was francis i was totally wrong francis w/ slamaze i thought it was jrich cuz of these 2 things in the evidence room theres a michigan state sweater hanging on the coat rack (he went there) and on the bulliten board it says Rinks ready w/ a hockey player there, and on the suspect file for jrich it says probably a redwings fan. so i thought it was him until today they have the interview thing for jrich and francis and sum dude leaves a message on the phone in the evidence room saying what happend and he says the move was "quick as a wink" keyword wink, francis's nickname. and francis says he wears slamaze size 13 , perfect match w/ the evidence.. if ur really behind, then at the crime scene look on the backboard for a hand print and on the floor for a shoe tread mark, and a cloth on the chainlink fence on the far left near the basketball, go to the forensic lab and do that stuff in there, if u have any more questions , post them and i'll try to reply a little later
Of course it was Francis, and if you saw the poll in the Rockets forum from a few days back, you'd see that 98% of the people here thought it was him too. He's the only guy besides Iverson at Reebok who is known for crossovers. I wanted you to tell me your reasons for believing it was J-Rich, but you made me wonder if there was some "hidden" evidence and I didn't want to ask where it was even though I never looked for it. I haven't bothered to look at the stuff you noticed, good connections to J-Rich, but why would having that stuff sitting around a police station be a clue to the "crime." Anyways, if you didn't believe it was Francis from teh get go, the size 13 to 14 shoe and the all white shorts that the cloth was part of where dead giveaways. BTW, after watching the "interview" videos, I now know why these guys aren't doing comercials where they pitch things like Shaq. They are far worse actors than Shaq if you can believe that.
ya, i guess it was foolish to think that it was jrich (no crossover +shorts+shoes, though i didnt know bout jrich's shoe size until today) but it seemed way too easy, but now i realize how it was an advertising gimmick instead of a real challenge.
Steve Francis did it because the player has a 43"vertical so that takes K-Mart and Baron Davis out! 13-14 shoe size so that takes J-Rich out so it's Francis cause francis has a size 13 and has more than a 43" vertical.
As long as it isn't K-Mart... since when did he have a break-your-ankles crossover? Those other guys are guards. I remember thinking when I first saw that ad... "Well, if this is the real world, we can eliminate K-Mart right away..."
It's Francis and he's wearing the ATR Slameeze. You also have to pay attention in the interview that says he used to ball in Tacoma, which is near maryland. And like you guys mentioned, the vertical and size 13 shoes.
I forgot about the phone call. After I finished getting all the evidence and the crime solved meter thingy to 100%, I just answered the questions. I did hear later because they sent my cell phone a text message, so I decided to listen to it. That guy talked funny.
I'd tell you but it would lower my chances of winning. You have to collect all the evidence, take it to the lab, then interview all the players.
Of course its francis, a phone message left at the police station says something about quick as a wink and Tacoma Park.
