    I think the Front Office was desperate at that time... they thought his ceiling was Allstar while it was probably a good role player....

    Well his floor was bust and he just was not THAT GOOD to begin with

    All this triple double what ifs and ejections later we know about this con artist......

    I started this thread as a joke! The Spurs having an interest in him means that things just got real! Pop is a no-nonsense kind of coach, maybe he will finally be able to do what others have failed to do, that is, put him on a leash and hold him accountable for his actions. Having said that, I hope Pop fails, I would hate to see BEWELL flourish for the Spurs!!!

    Lol I had to laugh at your post...... Things are not getting real yet. They are just sorting out the scrubs from the bottom scrubs....

    Then those scrubs can sit on the bench when they do not get waived before.

    BeWell doesn't deserve an NBA contract after the schitte he pulled on the Rockets. He is a thief and a con man that doesn't deserve our sympathy nor well wishes. He can find a job elsewhere and maybe someone out there is stupid enough to pay him money.

    Seriously, when I say getting real, I meant that I honestly didn't think ANYONE was going to give him a FOURTH chance! He is definitely fools gold in my opinion! I'm really surprised to see Pop and the Spurs giving him an invite, it just proves that smart people actually do stupid things from time to time. I know it's only an invite, but why invite him if you don't think there is a chance that he can make the team? There are literally thousands of players whom the Spurs could invite to summer league, why BEWELL?
