Nay, we just win the next 2, easily. We win G5 by 3 pts. We take care of business at home for G6. Simple. Thinking 4 in a row is too much thoughts. One at a time.
We win game 3 and 4 at home - I fully expect this team to have the confidence to steal game 5. We have been SO CLOSE to taking BOTH games at Oracle. The daunted place where teams go to die. This GS team does not look anywhere near as good as they've been talked up to be (exactly what I stated before the playoffs started) and if not for the blatant help of the officials would very well find themselves down 0-2 going to Houston. Of course the league wants Steph in the NBA Finals to justify the amount of sleep they've lost just thinking about his 5 year old face. Even with this, I still think Houston advances. Brewer will pick it up back in the H and get him on track for the rest of the series.
They need to win one at a time and game 3 is next. All this "They need to win 4 of 5 or 4 straight", they can't win 4 games, 3 games or 2 games in one game. Win game 3, go from there.
Winning 4 out of 5 is tough against ANY NBA team... but this is the Warriors. And game 7 would be at Oracle. In my own mind I'm just thinking about game 3.
Like the Texans when we were hunting for playoffs a couple years ago. "Go 1-0 every game. 1-0." I think it's very possible given how close the last two games were. Just gotta play smart and lower the turnovers. Oh, and Harden keeps doing what he's doing.
Win game 3. Right now that's a tall order against this very good Warriors team. Lose game 3 and this series is over.
I honestly wouldn't count out this Rockets team down 0-3. But that's not even going to happen. Rockets haven't lost 3 in a row all season and won't now. Rockets just have to win 3 home games and a road game to get to the finals. Take it one game at a time.
