We had a 4 on 3 in transition with no shot blockers.

That was 100% the right way to play it. I don't know what Harden was thinking passing the ball to Dwight at the top of the key with a few seconds left. He played such a tremendous game, that was so heartbreaking.

Holy ****ing **** how do you not call a timeout? I'm don't supporting this cheerleader of a coach. The team wins in spite of him not because of him. Way to blow it McHale.

Absolutely the right no time-out call.

Harden just panic there a bit. If he had slowed it down just a step, he would have seen all the options.

no there should've been a time out immediately after Dwight had the ball

there was no play there because he can't shoot and have to force it back to Harden who already had double covereage

my greatgrandma knos better than to refuse to call a TO when harden hesitated. just a fail from both our coach and #1 player . unneccessary loss

If all you b****ers were on the Rockets, you would suck as teammates. Fortunately, you are nobodies, and you merely suck as fans, which does not matter except to trash up this board.

Still no. We had a numbers advantage. There was a better chance to win in the offensive flow vs. trying to run a set play with ~2 seconds left.

I wasn't able to watch the game, but holding GS to 99 points seems to be a good thing regardless of the game plan.

but we didn't really have an numbers advantage after that because there was no other play from Howard other than passing it back to Harden with 2 defenders already swarming, it was 1v5 at that point.

TJ was open for the transition dunk. Harden just missed him...he was tired or just had a blind spot. It was wide open and right there. Damn, he has amazing game too, but the winning dunk was right there.

The initial run out w/o timeout is the right play. When it was passed out to Howard, a Timeout to reset IS the right play (considering how EASY it has been all season for Harden to get off a step back jumper)

Harden was waiting for a time out and did pass it to Ariza.

knowing TJ he would have found some way to **** it up lol.

My biggest knock on Mchale is the Smith chucking. When you lose two close games like this, every possession counts...and those smith shots were a bunch.

Its ok, back to Houston now.

They were trapping him regardless. the outcome would have been the same.

It was the right call not to call timeout , but gs played good transition d and cutoff Hardens left.

Don't worry. McHale is busy drawing up more Josh Smith ISOs vs. the DPOY runner up to change all of your minds who want him fired.

Mchale has done a good job in the playoffs. But I won't lie, there is a part of me that still wants him gone at the end of the season. I just don't think he is good enough. If we could get this far with Mchale imagine what this team could do if they were a little more disciplined.

cant blame Mchale at all for not calling a TO...you have to go with your best player...

When Mcgrady hit that crazy miracle shot it was off a no time out situation...

I thought James rushed those 8 seconds way too quick...The moment he had to pick up his dribble shouldve called the time out...Then made the mistake off passing it to Dwight Howard at the perimeter...but by that time...that was too late.
