I don't mind the non-timeout, they're defense was not set. This one hurts.

I think a TO was the right call. I get trying to score in transition when the defense isn't set up. But Harden does have a bad habit of driving into defenders and not knowing what to do if the whistle isn't blown. We needed a pick set for him at the top of the arc and either he pulls up for a midrange jumper or finds the open man if he's doubled or tripled.

4/6 is tough. 4/7 easier but still tough.

Just gotta play hard. Both these games could have gone either way. Could be different games in Houston altogether.

Well, this one hurt even more than the last one. We could have been 2-0 easily.

I think we will blow them out game 3 and win a close game 4.

Also Mark Stein should never appear on live television.

It was 3 on 1 though that would have been such a tough tough tough shot. Can't blame Harden at all

That last play might be the difference in the entire series. But you can't quit.

    A. Take the shot at 4 secs
    B. Call timeout
    C. Pass it to Howard

Wtf??? Why would you try to give it to Howard to setup the play again?

Massive choke all the way around. McHale for not calling TO. The players for not calling TO. Harden for not taking the shot or calling TO after getting the pass back. Everyone else on the court for not getting free once Harden was doubled. Everyone else for not doing **** to help Harden and Howard all game. Just a mess at the end.

So depressing. Harden was so excellent all game, the Rockets have played so close for these first two games...

To come away from nothing is damn disheartening.

Mchale is a joke. Call the ****ing timeout.
Harden can get his own shot in the half court against a set defense

I am 100% fine with not calling the time out. Had the refs made the correct call on the out of bounds play where the ball went off Currys foot and it was somehow their ball, then we would have won 1 point.

Josh Smith had 17 shots in 21 minutes. Harden had 21 Shots in nearly 41 minutes.

I have complete confidence we win both games at home then it goes back to GS and we have the momentum. +its more days of rest for Dwight.

Good game, lets get after it in game 3

DWight did not want the ball. He is scared of getting fouled. He never should have passed it back to harden

The problem with that is Harden in the open court with seconds winding down to end the game would be a situation like tonight where the refs will definitely do whatever possible not to call anything that ends with Harden on the line in the closing seconds.

A timeout after the pass back to Harden. Even if McHale goes Iso-Harden, perhaps Bogut steps up and Harden finds Dwight. Either way, it'd be easier to live with a missed Harden shot to end the game after a timeout is taken.

The crucial mistakes and no calls by the refs killed every chance really... They made it harder..

Remember when T-Mac was in the same situation in his 13 in 33, he just rose up and shot a contested three.

The clock is ticking, the defense is swarming, Harden just had to shoot. Even 5 feet behind the line. You're not going to get an open three. Go all the way, or pick a spot and shoot it no matter what.
