Jones has been horrendous this whole post season. The Jonesers have run out of excuses. He hasn't improved in 3 seasons. Making the same mistakes he made as a rookie. Disappearing against bigger players like he did as a rookie Same ole tired broke jump shot he had as a rookie. Same ole absent mindedness he had as a rookie. Same ole crappy inconsistent D he had as a rookie. Same ole JOFS picking through days, weeks, and months of video to dig up a dunk or two and holler about his great potential.

It is comical that someone who calls himself Rocket fan cannot root for a young Rocket player.....

Moreover he antagonizes him constantly and roots against him.....:grin:

No, he wasn't. Understand something here. He was going up against Dirk. Dirk is a gimpy, old man that can't defend a fence post. Terrence put up some offensive numbers on him. So what. Dirk went back down the other end and put up big numbers on Terrence. Terrence barely contributed in a true net sense in game 1.

Yeah, he had good moments playing with the small unit against the Clips who had the weakest bench in the playoffs. He is a better player than Big Baby Davis. He should have won that matchup.

Oh, he's an elite finisher around the basket. At least that's what the JOFs will tell you. But it all goes to pot when he has to go up against bigger bigs.

He needs to improve on some other team's nickel. Not on our championship aspirations nickel.

We're not going to be able to trade TJones for anything of value really. His salary will be salary-matching salary to any trade. He has played his trade value down to nothing. Boston might possibly send us Gerald Wallace and a first for Terrence and Kostas. But that would be Ainge including a first to dump Gerald.

Terrence isn't going to bring us back value.....period.

i hope we win a title with him playing significant minutes so that his trade value would be high.

Might be able to send him to Philly if we throw in a second rounder.

Yes, he is. Just because you do not like the guy doesn't mean you can take away the spark off the bench he gave us in game 6. It's obvious you're not a fan of him since you're posting in all the Hate threads for Jones.

Because Philly is short on perspective bigs? Care to elaborate what we get in return for Jones and 2nd rounder? Or was this just a random thought.

Irregardless of his good or bad moments (he has had both) this playoffs prior to game 1 against GSW, it is fair to say that he was one of the primary reasons we lost last night. After Dwight went down with injury, we needed a big to step up and he didn't answer the bell. He played the worst game I've ever seen him play in a Rockets uniform. I would say that although he has had good moments, his body of work this playoffs has not been good enough overall. He for the most part has produced well enough to consider him a quality bench contributor with an 11 points and 6 rebounds per game playoff average heading into last night, but he didn't even do that last night. It was disappointing and hard to watch. He has to bounce back and I think he will. If he doesn't, we're toast.

Without Jones, the Rockets lose the Clips in 6. Give the guy some freaking respect.

And you claim you're not a T. Jones hater. Whenever anybody says anything remotely positive, you come on here and refute every last one of them.

Dude can a monster game 2 and you will find away to say it was against a smaller lineup. Isn't basketball about taking advantages of the mismatch.

    Holic hates strikes again. LOL

    Jones is fine. #Overraction

To those who are calling him 'soft'. This made me chuckle. If he is soft, the rest of our team is made out of Charmin.

No sir Holic has always been in love with DMO. But T. Jones on the other hand, he hated on since day one. Every year this young fella has proved him wrong. So instead of giving him props, he waits in the dark shadows of his room, hoping and praying for Jones to have a bad game. That way he can come on here and say, " I told you so". LOL

I agree as far as DMo vs TJones, the decision is easy. However, it's very possible that Josh Smith won't be back. TJones is still cheap, and might be 4th big behind DH12, Cappella and DMo until the trade deadline next season.

It all depends on whether Josh Smith re-signs with the Rockets, and what other moves Morey can make at the 4. I think he's either gone in the offseason, or at next year's trade deadline. Morey has proven we can draft rotational bigs in the middle of the first round (PPat, Marcus Morris, TJones, etc.) and keep them during their inexpensive seasons. He's easily replaceable.
