Did anybody see our favorite UT professor, Robert Jenkins, defending this study on Scarborough Country last night?
What cracks me up the most is that the current use of the terms "Conservative" and "Liberal" in American politics have absolutely nothing to do with the true meanings of the two words.
Funny how you crave cognitive closure. You are also routinely intolerant of ambiguity. Now there's some truth for ya. (By the way, my boss is more liberal than I am, for what it's worth).
I'd just like to say that I go to Berkeley and that while Berkeley does maintain a sense of liberalism, it is largely because liberals there tend to be more vocal. It's not like the 70's anymore. There are plenty of people on the right wing...trust me. Also, I study Electrical Engineering Computer Science. I think it's a real subject.
