Please let the injury just be one of those slight bruise that go away after a couple of days or so :(

Yup. "Can't run jump or anything"? That's significant. He'll probably play on Thursday, but I think it's safe to say we've lost the peak Dwight we've seen this postseason.

    Depressing.

I only watch ESPN to see the Rockets games. I wouldn't even support these Rockets haters. We never get the credit for our victories. Come on Rockets lets win game 2.

The Rockets are far from blameless in this loss, but man the refs made some game changing calls down the stretch. I just get the feeling whether it's intentional, or maybe they've just got caught up in all the hype surrounding the Warriors, that the refs are going to do everything they can to make sure the Warriors are in the finals. I'm sure the NBA would love nothing more than to have a Curry vs Lebron championship series.

I have a hard time believing a simple bruise was incapable of being played through.

The player on the winning team always gets the benefit. It's just how it is.

I swear, Rockets fans are some of the least classy people I've ever associated with.

    ****ing pathetic.

Jones won't let that happen again. Problem is the way he goes up for shots. Easy to prepare and deny.

I want to say he did other things on the court that were helpful. Wasn't watching him specifically closely.

Watching ESPN is like watching the other team's commentators.

That's what I hope. Kinda like Paul's hammy. It was clearly bothering him in Game 3 last series, but he managed to play through it til it seemed fine by Games 6 and 7.

My only concern is we need Playoff Dwight to beat the Warriors in Oakland. We could maybe hold serve at home with mortal Dwight(although that's doubtful), but no way in hell we win on the road unless he can contribute at least 25-30 solid minutes.

I thought it was obvious. We had no more alley's and he wasn't looking for them.

depends if it was swelling from the initial impact that restricted movement I am sure the team will make sure they will get the swelling to come down or stop by thursday. if its pain then he'll get the needed pain killers.

It was a play-on, if anything a 60/40 in favor of a *technical* foul (1-point). "Would have been OT if Rockets had hit some free throws."

I agree, though, with the general sentiment that Green is kind of a dick.

Thanks for the validation. I do think that while our bench isn't as massive an advantage this round as the last (LAC bench is/was a joke all season)... I'll still take Prig/Brewer/Capela over Iggy/Livingston/Barbosa + Festus.

I just don't see Shaun Livingston being such a difference-maker in any other game this series (he was +16! ffs...)

THANK YOU! Seriously, I've been silently grumbling about Terry vs. Prigs for awhile now. I get it, Terry has championship composure yada yada. He also is the world's best creator of 3-point and-1s via whoever he's guarding. And sometimes doesn't show up (tonight).

As you showed us above, Capela is/can be a monster. Goes for it hard. Actually finishes plays.

His FT woes, I believe, are a fluke. Right now I trust him more at the line, and everywhere else on the court, than T. Jones.
