Hey Fegwu: I don't usually give a crap about lousy posts, but I can not remember a post of yours that was anything other than a rude and negative reaction to someone else's post. To my mind, the next time you contribute anything original to this board will be the first time. Seriously, thanks for taking the time to critique everyone, but I think we get the idea at this point. 925 posts and what do you have to show for it, exactly? This  ?

Please resist the temptation to take this as encouragement to continue -- I will be the first to give you props when you actually write something of substance. Feel free to consider me 'the guy who notices what you post and will be very excited when it's something of substance.' It's meant to be a favor.

I'm thinking you're right on the money. Last year, while they were taking feedback at rockets.com about fan's new uniform preference(s), I fired off an response which they posted verbatim, and in it's entirety...save for my last sentence which went something along the lines of: "and it would be nice if they didn't leave Houston off the road jerseys this time - how did that happen in 95?"

I don't know if it's marketing in Les' mind, or the fact that he never really has attached to Houston like he proclaimed he would when he bought the team from Charlie Thomas. All I know is that I'm pretty damn proud of my hometown (even though the Air Force stuck me up here in Fort Worth in *ewwww* Mavericks country), and I'd like to see "Houston" proclaimed in hostile arenas.

Still, I'm digging the new look and colors - not too shabby.

Actually, the players all have their own teams of agents, publicists, marketing people, etc., that set up deals like this for them. It doesn't really go through us at all, nor does it need to. So this isn't unusual at all, especially during the off-season.

At the end of the day, we're glad Cat put some time in to do the commercials -- we're always happy to see Rockets players getting the publicity as opposed to someone else.
