Rockets vs. Clippers Game 7 TV Ratings generates highest early round tv ratings for ABC since 2012

    NBA on ABC: Houston Rockets-L.A. Clippers Game 7 Delivers Highest-Rated Early-Round Playoff Game Since 2012



    The Houston Rockets victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7 of their Western Conference Semifinals series delivered a 5.8 overnight rating on ABC, according to Nielsen. The broadcast peaked with a 7.7 from 6 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. This marks the highest-rated first or second round NBA playoff game on any ESPN network since May 2012.



    Game 7 generated a massive 25.1 rating in the Houston market, making it the highest-rated NBA playoff game ever in the market, as far as records go back (2003). In Los Angeles, the game did a 9.5.



    ESPN will exclusively televise the 2015 NBA Western Conference Finals – Golden State Warriors versus Houston Rockets – beginning Tuesday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET. More details will be issued today.

    basically for those naysayers who say the rockets style is not fun to watch, most of america disagrees with you

    this warriors/rockets series is gonna be one of the highest rated series for abc ever

    Unfortunately all games will be on ESPN so ratings won't be as high as if they were on ABC.

    Rockets always draw the ratings. Not sure why people say they are unwatchable. Gonna be a great conference finals.
