Prigioni is making big time, clutch plays and Lin was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Quite a difference. Let's go Pa Blo!

    That is really immature.

There are a lot of Rocket fans that have been fans for a long time.
I started following the Rockets in 86 and become a die hard fan in 92.

I can tell you that there have always been a lot of players that have had a much more detrimental effect on the Rockets as a team and the organization than Lin. While Lin didn't play up to his contract, he never quit, played hard and was always a consummate teammate. He should give him that.

As far as the Portland playoff series went, if my memory serves me well, the only guy on the team that showed up in every game was Dwight Howard.

Here are Jeremy's states from that series.
    Game 1:
    Points: 14
    Assists: 4
    Rebounds: 6
    Steals: 0
    Turnovers: 2

    Game 2:
    Points: 5
    Assists: 5
    Rebounds: 3
    Steals: 1
    Turnovers: 2

    Game 3:
    Points: 13
    Assists: 6
    Rebounds: 4
    Steals: 0
    Turnovers: 1

    Game 4:
    Points: 4
    Assists: 4
    Rebounds: 5
    Steals: 0
    Turnovers: 3

    Game 5:
    Points: 21
    Assists: 4
    Rebounds: 3
    Steals: 2
    Turnovers: 2

    Game 6:
    Points: 11
    Assists: 3
    Rebounds: 1
    Steals:
    Turnovers: 3

Jeremy played a pretty big role in games 1, 3 and 5.

In the Dallas series and the first few games of the Clippers series, there were a lot of fans saying that we should be playing Prigs fewer minutes because the Dallas and Clippers guards were lighting up Prig's.

Jeremy made some important contributions in the that playoff series. At the end of the day, we expected more out of Jeremy Lin based on the Salary he received. That is a very fair argument. Prigs also made some very important contributions in helping this team win the series while at other times, he got lit up on defense.

Every player has their positives and negatives. As fans, we over criticism a players negative attributes, especially if it comes at an inopportune time. That Jeremy Lin turnover at the end of game 6 burned and just hurt really bad. The other thing is, there is no way last years team was as good as this team and the expectation that they would win the next round of the playoffs would be hard to argue.

Furthermore, to say that Prig is a better player than Jeremy is something I would disagree with you on. Just look at Pablo Prigioni's stats. I am glad Prigs was able to make contributions that helped us win a few games and that the Rockets are advancing to the Conference finals.

Can you please just try and enjoy this win instead to picking fights with other Rockets fans.

    Thank you.

Folks who saw the game saw how great his decision making and leadership was.

Lots of hustle on defense too... FOR A 38 YEAR OLD DUDE

Once again, a tinman thread floating to the top of the GARM like a turd in a toilet bowl.

I've said it before, tinman is not a real fan. Spends 90% of his posts on 2 players who aren't on the team (tmac and lin) or what happened 20 years ago. Barely cares about the current team unless they're winning and can make references to when he really followed the Rockets.

Exactly, he's the definition of a fake fan.

Only posts about his little pet subjects. He tries to divide the fan base over bs no one cares about anymore. And when we're winning his only purpose is to try to equate the players somehow to those 90's teams.

No, Josh Smith is not Vernon Maxwell. Prigioni isn't Mario Ellie. They are awesome players in their own right. What we're doing now is awesome by itself.

No reason to constantly bring back up things that happened 20 years (or 6 years ago, or even last year) ago like a loser fan who cannot let go of the past.

    Live in the present.

Well, if we had Ariza; if we had Josh Smith; if Harden performed equally well; if McHale reacted a little faster; if we had Terry, we could have beaten Blazers. You can always argue weather Prigioni is better than Lin.

But without Josh Smith in game 6, you would have been starting threads of "fire ..." instead of this silliness. Did that have anything to do with Prigioni or Lin?

This should be moment of happiness instead of bitterness.

Some people are different, but some try too hard to show they are "different".

This thread by you just knocked down the average level of 99ers quite a bit.

Be Happy that Rockets showed heart and resilience, and now they are in WCF!

    Bitter?

Bitter is what you feel like if you lose.

Happiness is when you are right. Thank goodness for Morey being right.

Today proves that Morey made the right call.

And for those people who keep posting they hate my threads, they are on them like coke addicts in columbia.

If you would leave it in that dumb ass thread in the dish like you're supposed to I wouldn't care or notice. But you have to pollute it here and of course rile up all the other lemmings so it bears mentioning. I haven't and don't need to have read your posts in months to know your deal.

I wish this thread could be moved to avoid trolling what is supposed to be a great moment among fans, but of course you wouldn't know about that. Anyways carry on.

Oh yeah you have no real counter because the evidence speaks for itself. Cross up roundhouse into Shoryuken.

To me, Rockets winning is so much more important than I was "right" on a message forum.

As for people posting in your threads, you were in almost every page of every Lin thread.

This, after all, is a Rockets forum.
