Not only that but the Rockets have to be leading by at least 25 5 minutes in the 1QT and never drop below that.
Nothing will be given, they have to take it and honestly, that is how it should be. Respect is earned. Nobody believes in these guys. I've already read lots of people predicting they will be swept and would be lucky to go 5 games against the Warriors. All bulletin board material. They heard it after game 4 when they went down 3-1 and they responded. We can only hope for a similar reaction and result.
Nope, they're vultures. Literally just praying for the team to fail. For what reason, I have no idea. Anytime Harden has a bad game they'll be back making some outlandish statements.
Do you believe that every team that fails to win a championship is led by a failure of a gm, coach and a fake superstar?
I doubt McHale a lot. For lack of apparent strategy (3rd quarter adjustments anyone?). In ability to keep the team focused. Ill-timed time outs. He handled business, today. He re-gathered the team at the right moments, got them into strong sets on time outs. Kept the hustle players in so there was always energy on the floor. I know I don't know much about the game. So I give him mad props for doing whatever the heck is is doing to get these guys to step up at the right moments. Now for the love of basketball gods, please just come out strong against Golden State. And don't let up.
Trolls will never go away. Rockets will not win the 1st round. Rockets will not win the 2nd round. Rockets will not win the WCF. Rockets will not repeat championship. Lather, rinse, repeat.
trolls are always looking for an excuse to leave their bridge, just look at the threads above this one. on cue, like mark jackson always brings up his firing from the golden state warriors. loved how instead of awkward silence jvg made jokes about it.
People confuse objective observation about a team's flaws with "trolling." I have said time and again that the Rockets are "pretty good" and that Morey has done a lot of positive things. These things are not in conflict with recognizing that the Rockets are also flawed in such a way as to make them a step below a true contender. Rooting for the Rockets doesn't mean one has to be blind to their flaws or the merits of the opposing team. There is a difference between calling a GM and his team a "failure" and call for his replacement and recognizing that the GM has made mistakes in specific instances.
First, I believe morey has made mistakes. All gms have. However, the idea that a team in the western conference finals, the number two seed in the stacked west, is not a true contender is preposterous.
I don't understand who is currently trolling... People complaining for really bad losses or the ones who thinks winning game 6 that way was a master plan?
I'm not sure that observing flaws in a team is trolling. There were definite holes in this team. I was concerned that role players would not step up. I think all those fears have been put to rest. This team is legit. But the truth is that you won't win over converts by talk, you gotta prove it. And they did.
The thing about observing flaws is that it's not actually the case. Fans are observing flaws from their perspective and what they perceive to be flaws. For example, the perceived flaw of Morey is that players will never play hard on his team. The perceived strength of Mark Cuban was that he's a great owner and that he builds teams based on chemistry. Then the Rockets got Josh "got cut because he's a cancer" Smith while the Mavs got Rajon "Playoff Beast" Rondo. We all saw how that turned out. If there's one thing consistent about the haters isn't so much that their view is more "realistic" or "not homerisms," it's that they believe their opinions are holy grail while anything the Rockets do must be incorrect.
