They won't rest until they win it all.

Damn, judging from his postgame comments, PP may really retire.

It's a heart breaker, but at least they won't feel disappointed in their team. It's easier to stomache a loss like that than if they had been run off the floor or blown a big lead and lost.

I suspect most Wizards fans will just chalk it up to either being unlucky or Atlanta being a 60 win team and look forward to next year.

I feel like they honestly had a pretty good chance of beating the Hawks if wall didn't get hurt. Don't forget, they took care of business in game one in Atlanta fairly easily.

Wow terrible way to lose, this is the only downside to the replay system: great shots like that would've counted 90% of the times and now you cannot even get excited by a game winner because they always go to replay. I feel bad for the Wizards, but they have to waive that of, they just have to. If the Wizards would go on to win game 7, that would've made the NBA look really bad. Could the referees have decided it counts and refuse to go to replay?

Very nice series! Wiz have a lot of positives to take out of this like the rise of beal and porter. Nice up and coming team.

Man, this interview is heart-breaking, especially at around 7:55. I can see how painful last night's outcome was for Pierce at least for the moment.

    Ne is tired and heartbroken.

The blame put on him has swayed him.

You all interested? He's burned by mgmt.

    L. said he's taking it harder than when the Nugz got bumped out of the playoffs.

We almost had him in the past, if not for his distrust in someone.

If Josh/TJ are gone, I wouldn't mind having my boy next to his buddy, Dwight.

Your friend swallowed the Bulls frontcourt last year and led them to the win. This year he made some costly mistakes and led to eliination.
Never get too high or too low. Last year's hero is this year's zero. He will hopefully bounce back.

Also I never liked Pierce but I respect him. Hope he doesn't retire!

His 13 million dollar contract would make a trade difficult without losing someone significant other than TJ.
