The last time I went to bed early, McGrady scored 13 points in 33 seconds. Never going to bed early again! Sounds like some of you need some cheese!
as much as I feel the pain for the east coasters and people in Houston - it wouldnt be fair to the home team and the home teams fans out on the west coast to have to start a game at 6pm or 530pm to cater to the east coast. Most people are not even out of work that time let alone be able to get to the game. Esp in LA when it comes to traffic - home teams should have the advantage after all - imagine playing through the first quarter if not the first half with the arena practically empty because majority of fans couldnt get to the leave work early enough? its the same excuse people foregoing sleep and having work early the next day -- the home team fans majority of them probably do not have jobs that they can readily leave early enough to make the game. Hell even for myself I was only able to get out of work around 645pm last night and with the way the weather and traffic was last night no way I would have been able to make it to staples by 8pm even though I am about 13 miles away. I mean I had to record a majority of the rockets games this season because they started at 530 or earlier local time here and most of the time I wasnt out of work by then. You cant win either way if you are the league so cater to the home teams fan as realistically as possible
I went to bed at 2:15 this morning, was up at 5:45 and am in training until 7pm tonight, then driving back to Houston after the training is over to go party in Houston until 2am. . . and I didnt make a thread
Living in Upstate NY, I have the dreaded 10:30pm starts. @#$# LA and their late late games. And then after the game, I just HAD to watch all the replays and interviews and check out the celebrations on ClutchFans, so I got to sleep at 4am. But like others said - worth it!!!
