They don't need another starter until Monday, who knows what they'll do.

 

HR's are great. But this team isnt going far if this is the only way we can score.

 

Clemens wasn't on the 2003 team (the only year of Lidge-Dotel-Wagner). He came the year after in 2004...Wagner was already traded (exiled) to Philly.

 

When Springer plays this team walks quite a bit as well. Plus we have an extremely low BABIP of .265, so we are due for some hits to start falling in, we had a number of hard outs yesterday.

 

Yeah, a base running error by San Fran and nice play by Villar, men on first and third to close it out. Nothing to worry about there, total control.

 

I like Gregorson but adding another piece to the back of the bullpen would make me feel more comfortable. A hard thrower that can miss bats.

If the Reds continue to be mediocre for another month do they look to trade start trading pieces? Chapman?

 

Edit: Look to start trading pieces.

Using McCullers and/or Appel out of the bullpen is another option.
