I thought starting smith was a good move although I would have liked to see it in game 4. Glad to see Capella get some burn, though. I think his size causes some problems for the clips, even if he is still learning.

Griffin sees Tjones and thinks BBQ chicken, he sees Josh and starts shooting more jumpers. It is tough on Griffin trying to post up Josh each time down. TJones minutes against Griffin should be minimized on the defensive end.

But that's the thing. Smith has been playing with Dwight as part of that 2nd unit early in the 2nd quarter and was horrible in the first 4 games. A big problem was that he couldn't finish around the basket, but also that he kept trying those alley-oop passes that simply weren't there thanks to DeAndre defending them so well.

Last night in the 3rd quarter, Josh instead would drive into the paint and kick it out to open shooters on the perimeter. That's what he needs to do more of in Game 6. Obviously if Dwight is open at the rim, get him the ball(they did connect once in the 3rd quarter). But if the Clippers are packing in the paint as they're prone to do, kick it out to the shooters. Even if they miss, it's better than turning it over on a bad alley-oop and giving the Clippers easy transition buckets.
