    Beyond platitudes, what are you really trying to say that's different than anyone else.

    So you are in agreement that Abstinence only education is not the right path? You may say that a 3 hour long lesson might not be ideal, but the fact is it's the best thing that's working to date. And the conservative solutions have failed.

    We can't tell Parents how to raise their kids. We can provide kids an education and empower them to make the best decision for their lives as much as possible though.

    First, my platitudes are better than your platitudes; let's get that straight right off the bat...

    Yes, abstinent messages have failed for some in a tsunami of cultural images of carefree, casual sex by anyone who wants it. Are you surprised?

    I'd be interested in seeing a relational map depicting these 20 kids.... and the rest of that school population.

    If only the teachings of the bible were as powerful as the biological urge to have sex -- I wish someone could explain how the word of god is less powerful than the tingly bits of our anatomy.

    Using that logic, who's to say it hasn't happened more often in schools that have the world's greatest sex ed training? After all, just because something doesn't get picked up and reported, doesn't mean it's not an issue.

    Because that's all sex education is... It's only simply making teens aware that condoms exist. There is nothing else involved in sex education.
