    It's fiction; go with it.

E10 Gas has a shelf life of only 3 months. Ethanol alcohol fuel blends have a shelf life of only 90-100 days, under ideal environmental conditions.

They did manufacture methane from pig poop in Beyond Thunderdome.

Soooooo this has a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 30 critic reviews.

    Oh my. I'm so hyped.

Even more impressive is 89% on Metacritic. Not a ton of reviews yet but you would think it'll hold up.

This is getting insane reviews. I'm guessing it out grosses FF& and maybe Ultron. The world is hungry for a proper action R film that isn't a comic book.

Do I need to watch the originals?

Never heard of them before this movie. 90's baby.

Maybe I need to watch the trilogy so I can understand this film?

I don't go to the movies very often but I saw Ex Machina last weekend over Ultron and would see this over Ultron. I am in the minority but would rather see an original (machina) or visceral (mad max) movie over Avengers when I know they already have 20 more of those in the pipeline.

This. Although I'm 27. I've never seen these movies but that trailer is dope.

Watch them. They're basically the most influential desolate post apocalyptic films ever made. Movies like Book of Eli and games like Borderlands y Fallout all owe it to the Mad Max series. South Park even paid its respects.

But are they sequential, or is this new movie a remake?

It's sort of a sequel and reboot in one. The first three are all sequential but this lies somewhere in between them.

The new one continues the story 6yrs after Thunderdome but obviously w/a new actor.

It having a rating of "R" is the main reason why it won't outgross a non-R superhero movie, imo.

Although, I don't know how many people will be keen on seeing the F4 movie though.

Should the past Mad Max movies be watched first? Or can I just jump into this one?

Dont forget The Matrix. And some movies get friendlier ratings in other countries.

You don't have too but I would. They're good. Especially the Road Warrior and the the first half of Thunderdome. Mad Max sets up the world and character motivations.

Not necessary but I would recommend it. If you are only going to watch one, watch Road Warrior. I rewatched the first two just the other day. So hyped for this movie. Unfortunately I'll be on vacation so I wont get a chance to see it until Monday.
