lol one loss and these forums have a complete meltdown as if we were a lottory team. just by reading the comments you would think we just lost game 3 and are down 0-3 on the verge of being swept. its extremely pathetic. it was a bad game, get over it and get ready for the next one tomorrow.
On a serious note, why is anyone surprised? What has Harden done in his playoff career to raise expectations? <iframe src="https://vine.co/v/emhz9pvluHn/embed/simple" width="600" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe><script src="https://platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js"></script>
Harden could have scored 50 points last night and the Rockets still would have lost. Until the rest of the team starts making open shots, and until the team starts playing better defense, they will continue to lose regardless of what Harden does. It's funny that last year the most common complaint I heard about Harden was that he played to much hero ball. He iso'd to much. The ball got sticky. Now this year people complain because he isn't aggressive enough. No matter what he does some are going to be unsatisfied. Don't mistake a laid back attitude with not caring. James has put a lot of time in to improve his game since coming to Houston. The guy cares.
Harden plays well under pressure. Like the Portland series before Lillard's LUCKY shot. James and Dwight were bringing it back to Houston. I expect this AWFUL game to be the "pissed off" we're looking for. James knows that this somewhat falls on him if he doesn't deliver some decent games against the Clips. He's been a great passer, but I don't need Eric Gordon on my team. I want James Harden that went 3-0 on Dallas.
What the hell is pride going to do exactly, make him miss more contested shots didn't matter if he took 50 more shots yesterday, he was guarded well. we still would've lost anyway because we don't know how to play defense against Austin Rivers lol
If Harden didn't get pissed off and show some passion over what Barnes said to his damn mom it damn sure won't happen over losing a basketball game.
I don't understand some of you... playing pissed off does not necessarily make everyone play better Just cause someone jacks up more shots than usual doesn't mean that's better
I love a good Clutchfans Harden Shaming to avoid all the other reasons they got obliterated. I mean, sure. His pride and fire are definitely the reasons. Carry on.
Really? He Harden has no heart because Rivers had a good game and the Clips ran away with it? Rivers wasn't called for offensive fouls last nigh. Even Hubie ****ing Brown noticed that. Harden was wacked multiple times and also was called for a charge. No heart? No way. He has heart but he needs to be more adaptable. VS the Flippers in game 4 I'd like to see the game open up with some Harden ISO jumpers. If he hits a few then I'd like to see some drives. Harden needs to score or make great passes to start the game and then maybe team will be uplifted by his offensive energy. No more 1st possession TJ / ARIZA brick from long range as the clock expires.
JJ doesnt fall for all that Dribbling Harden does, he just stands there....like I said all year, Harden needs to stop being fancy, takes 2 dribbles and jumpshot, or drive to the goal.... he also needs to develop a jumper off of screens, much like Kobe and Ray Allen and even TMAC....but Harden is not going to run around screens like Reggie Miller or Kevin Martin
Truth. Prior to this year, the complaints of playoff Harden were not trusting teammates and ISO ball with terrible shooting. This year he's moving the ball really well, scoring at an unreal efficiency and watching his teammates brick wide open 3 after wide open 3 that he created for them. Defense and turnovers have been bad, not excusing that, but he and Howard are the only reasons we aren't already done.
Pride would make him die on his feet than how he is living now, on his knees. Pride will make sure he doesnt go down cowardly. Effort put into defense. Effort into attacking non-stop. Being relentless. Putting up a fight. Im sure you heard this, " i hope this motivates Harden"
