This where I feel like we've under estimated how much playoff experience this team actually has and there should be no excuses. Dwight and Harden have both been to the finals. Terry, brewer and Ariza have won a ring on a previous team. Growing pains is no longer an excuse. Our players should know what it takes to win it all.

You still butt hurt behind one play is very comical. LOL I've seen Lebron Da King James give up on a few plays. I've seen Harden give up on a lot of plays last season, not so much this season though. Aaron Brooks got so mad when he was pulled out of a game, he went straight to the locker room. Your homie Kobe Bean Bryant quit on his team against the Suns just to prove a point to his teammates and the fans that were saying, he shot the ball too much".

Big Dawg you really need to let that skit go.

It's funny how everyone here is acting as if the OP is an idiot when in reality all of you were thinking the same thing 80% through this game.

    Give it a rest already.

I still thought we looked bad. I hope we get it together next game. We have to take one in LA.Without Harden this team whoever has our pick would be picking in the top ten. Dude is easily tpo 5 player in the league

Maybe this was finally the night that James Harden worked through whatever mental block has been inhibiting him during the playoffs. Lead us to the promised land, oh bearded one.

Harden this year is different from last year. He finds ways to win. He will definitely find the right recipe the next couple of games. He has always been crafty like that.

Not really surprised with that 4th quarter.

Deandre in foul trouble meant a nice open paint and no one for the LAC defenders to funnel Harden to which forced them to foul.

Capitalizing when Deandre hits the bench is going to be key for James. That and knocking down his threes. A good 2-3 tonight dipped in and came out, just some bad luck.

Hopefully we can find a way to keep Jordan in foul trouble the rest of the way because he is doing a great job covering for when Harden gets by his man.

The only you can say is that Harden definitely did not look engaged, just like most on our team, in the first 2 and a half / 3 quarters. Turning the ball over, silly fouls etc. Harden was reportedly amped up and maybe a bit too much, so that rest after the 4th foul sure helped him.

He did not quit, but he sure as hell did not carry this team when we were under pressure. He came in when we already made our run and just extended it. Harden still folds under pressure too much and while he is clutch, he needs to be the guy like the regular season when he just wills this team to victory.

He willed the team tonight dude. When he came in we were still down and he took over and scored 20 points the last 14 minutes of the game. I know what your trying to say but is just plain wrong. We don't win without harden doing what he did tonight. The others guys played great to get us close in the 3rd but had harden not done his thing when he cam back in the 3rd we lose by 10 or more and that 2pt defect at the end of the 3rd turns into a 8 pt deficit without harden. He undoubtably carried us to a win tonight and I'm proud to day I knew it would happen. I'll never say harden sucks or is bad in the playoffs. He's only 25 and learning game by game. He knows the regular season but this is still only his 19 post season game in Houston as the man lead option.

He really let me down game 1. It was hard to explain to my 11 year old son why he wasn't playing hard.

I forgot he was 25. Young people get discouraged. I wanna believe its a maturity thing and he will learn from that.

Ride or die. Gotta show some loyalty. Especially aftet Barnes talking smack to his mom!? Makes me want to punch Barnes right in the nose.

Hakeem will always be so valuable to this franchise and to the City of Houston. We are forever fortunate he was/is a part of this going forward.

    harden is 3rd in scoring
    2nd in assists currently

    howard 1st in rebounding
    1st in blocked shots.

and i still think they havent played to their highest abilities yet. but that is mostly harden hitting a little better from 3, and cut down on the free throws. where howard really only needs to hit his free throws a little better, otherwise he looks like a top 10 player at the moment.

Honestly, and I don't know the correlation between this...but I think it's about time Harden settles down and gets a wife and kid.

Would mature the guy hopefully and tell him there's bigger things to worry about than basketball. I think they guy cares so much and just gets lost or afraid of the moment.

But it was funny watching people trash him in the first 3 quarters. Harden always gets hot in the 4th, well more times than not. Proved it again, Ariza and others finally helped out too by hitting shots.

Gonna need the Beard to outplay CP3 when he comes back, he's going to have to put on a performance to get this team to the WCF. I still believe in him, 25 years old he's gonna make mistakes.
