I hope we win so 3/4th of ClutchFans would stop acting like the world is ending.

So much hate from fans. Do you all give up and take a crap on everything you love so easily? Lonely existence much?

I went to game 1, and if I could I'd go to game 2. GO ROCKETS!

UPDATE: CHRIS PAUL LISTED AS QUESTIONABLE FOR GAME 2

what does this mean for the rockets? who freakin knows, if we play soft and not smart defence again instead of our normal hard but still not smart defence then we won't win unless our 3 ball is all worldy which known the quality of our shooters won't.

Game 1 was a wake up call for the whole team. I think the days off ended up hurting them. I think we'll see a complete 180 from them tomorrow. I expect to play a lot more disciplined and focused. Gotta win tomorrow and steal one back in LA.

thought I could just sleep it off and feel better about the loss the next day, but nope I feel even more frustrated for some strange reason. gosh, what a horrible game that was.

not being that guy but thats what everyone thought last year after game1 and then we got killed on defence by worldy LMA and crappy offence largely throughout the game which started from Harden

High likelyhood CP3 might play game 2 btw...Whatever bad mojo they had last night, its...gonna get worse.

Chris Paul means to the Clips what James Harden means to us...and knowing that information, I can not believe that Howard and Harden didnt do what was necessary and get their team prepared.

Harden with his ridiculous turnovers, and Dwight with his bricks at the FT line/plus getting outworked by DeAndre.

    They're humans, not robots, blahblahblah

...but I keep seeing this was a "wake up call."

Wake up call! Wake up call! Wake up call!

They needed a loss as a wake up call to alert them...

that they couldn't just show up and win?
that this isn't the first round?
that this isn't the Dallas Mavericks?

    Wake up call?

Yeah, it's the 2nd round of the playoffs [and you're one of the final 8 teams]. You better "wake up".

It's either a large-scale change in how our culture works or an effect of the internet, but it's not just the Rockets, not just this site, and not just sports. A lot of people seem to live a place where they are primed to be outraged.

    Really tiring and sad, actually.

Anyway, props to you for your attitude.

ROFL, unfortunately it'd only last until the next loss... Same **** when Dallas won a game in the first series. I know effort was bad last night, but I don't think the series will be like that... Rockets got over confident and were rusty last night, it'll be a lot better tomorrow.

It wasn't rust. The Rockets push that double digit lead to 20 in the 2Q instead of letting the Clippers back in & it's a completely different game.

The Clippers didn't do anything exceptional to make run. It was all Rockets in letting them back in.

This has become a tiring trend. Especially at the end of the season against lottery teams.
