Agreed! The Rockets are way too dumb and poorly coached to win this series. An example of what should have been a motivator for James Harden is that he finished second in the MVP race, it work for Houston once. Harden was not driven to make a statement tonight. The back court was exposed and the rest of the team played and look like garbage.

    He was a -22 tonight.

Here's the box score if you can stomach a murder scene.

Prigioni was +7 tonight, topping the team. Played 10 fewer minutes than Terry who was a -23, at the bottom of the team. Capela was a +3 and had 2 pts, 3 rebounds, and 1 block in his scant 5:44 of play time. That kid came to the playoffs ready to kick ass, showed it in the Mavs series, and showed it tonight. Play him next to Dwight at the 4, dammit. You could just throw the ball in the vicinity of the basket and one of them will crash it down.

Nights like these, I wonder if I should even type what I want to say.

Why waste my energy and time to type something up when the Rockets, as a whole, didn't have an ounce of energy and wasted 3 hours with crappy play?

Shaq never wanna give Dwight his due, Charles never wanna give Blake his due.

I didn't see Charles' name on that list with Blake

What's worst is Barkley trying to jinx the Rox by trashing the Clips... I know now how cynical this guy is. His hate for the Rockets is on the psychotic level with this twist alone. He thinks he's smart but anybody with a brain would know he's trying to jinx the Rox into getting swept..

Terrible coaching, terrible effort, terrible discipline..

Yea, we're not winning this series (that we were favored in BTW). Yet another underachieving postseason.

Today said a lot about this team.

Lol, wut? Howard outplayed DeAndre dude, what game were you watching?

Damn, I'm sad. This team is undisciplined with all those turnovers. Everybody else in the country is gonna chew this up, and it sickens me that they're right. Fk.

Harden really didn't come to play. But I think the entire team was just sloppy. We gave away too many points and played with zero energy after the first. Seems like they played the same way against Dallas in game 4. Giving up home court while Chris Paul was out doesn't bode well for the series.

When is Harden gonna have that signature playoff game, that people will remember for years. Even if the Rockets lose you still gotta have some moments where youre clearly the best player on the floor. No reason jj Reddick ahould be checking him

This is the first time all year I've been ashamed of the way our boys showed up (or, more accurately, didn't show up). They looked like they thought the game was just a formality and they didn't even have to try. As if they win just from suiting up.

They should have had the mindset that they needed to DESTROY this team while they were down Chris Paul. They should have been out to shake their confidence. To send a message.

But instead they showed up and played with absolutely no effort. Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

Seriously that came out of left field. I am not even gonna reply to that anymore because it's a ridiculous retort to Harden not owning this game. Back on topic, what do we need to see in the next game to restore hope? CP3 or not.

I have no idea what we're going to do when CP3 comes back if we couldn't contain a Rivers and a Redick without a CP3.

BGriffin played like CP3 was already there tonight...

What's up with McFail taking out players when they are hot? He took out Ariza when he was on fire from 3 point land. That's not going to win us a championship. We have 2 days rest, play your main guys when they are hot.... and sitting Harden for like 5-6 minutes of the 4th quarter? Who gives a **** if he has 4 fouls.... play the man, we need points and passing at least.

I'm just worried... yeah it's only game 1, but I'm just scared now. My body isn't feeling well now.

McHale just needs to coach with more energy. He's not coaching with enough energy, and he needs to coach faster. He just didn't coach fast enough, and the coaching was getting sticky.
