I said the same exact thing as Oski. I was hoping they would have incorporated the lone star in a bigger way, maybe making it the focus in the logo. Oh well.
Remember the patch they wore on their jersey in 2000? The patch had the shape of the roof on it. I think the shape of the roof should have been incorporated in the logo instead of a regular crescent shape with a flat bump in it.
that logo doesnt even have the texans colors in it...if that logo had red white and blue and maybe a star it woula looked awesome
Yes you do Kam, you just probably dont realize it like most fans. Being that I am an architect, I can help explain this one in great detail. The coverd entrances are designed to look like train sheds. Look at the top curve of the ASG 2004 logo and the "shed" entrances and you will see it clearly
Actually the colors are supposed to be NAVY, red, yellow, and white. That's just a bad copy of the actual logo, just like the released Rockets "R" logo. In September, you will see the real "R" logo complete with drop shadow trimmings and all. If you want the real Super Bowl logo, pass by any local Academy and you will find it. You will find that all the SB merchandise is NAVY, like it should be.
Yep, believe it or not! To me though, the graphic designers who did the ASG logo did an absolutely horrible job portraying the "shed" in that logo. Plus, I would have used the actual Train in the logo being that is what MMP is famous for nowadays.
I thought people laughed and wondered what a train has to do with the Houston Astros. Of course, had we stuck with the badass name of "The Ballpark at Union Station," this wouldn't be the case.
