His MRI is negative too. I don't think he will be experiencing any problems out there.

He was limping today when the Clippers had their shootaround. I think he'll give it a go tonight, but he won't be close to 100%.

I actually prefer Paul to be 100%. The Rockets are good enough to handle the Clippers at full strength.

The problem with Paul being out or playing hurt, is that just gives the collective bunch "ammo" to pick up the slack and play even harder. This actually makes a team tougher to beat in my opinion.

Just like the Mavs situation with all their injuries and drama. They fought and make it difficult because of the collective "me against the world, wounded cornered animal" mentality.

This is why I just don't like it whenever the Rockets play a team that has a plethora of injuries or not close to being full strength. Those games always prove to be challenging.

Can we all agree not to quote trolls who predict 28-point losses, etc. Seriously. Dude is on my ignore list, but I can't enjoy that feature if 10 of you quote him. LOL.

GO ROCKS! So pumped for the game.

Problem with hamstring issues is that it's not like the Clips can rest him one game and he'll be fine. Realistically, he won't be healthy for at least two weeks if he rests.

So there really is no point in sitting him if he's willing to go other than risking further damage or other injuries. He is bothered by it, and those minute totals he's putting up are only going to do more damage. Doc really should keep him to 30-35 minutes at most, but that's hard to do when you need to win.

This series will show us if this team has the heart of a champion or not.

It will be brutal but we can do it!

Hard to disagree with that thought. Not sure why the Rockets staff didn't add finals and Champions on there.

We played a full strength Portland team last year and no one brought their A game except for Dwight. This year, we're injured too with two starters out so I won't shed a tear of CP3 is a little banged up.

Oh I get what you are saying, I'm just not scared of a healthy/full strength Clipper's team.

I was just making the point that wounded teams seem to be "tougher" than healthy squads. It sounds backwards on the surface, but this Rockets team seems to have a penchant of playing "down to their opponents" and a wounded team is no different.

I hope the Rockets take care of business.

Get ready for flop city. By the end of this series the Clippers have a good chance of being the modern day equivalent of the Stockton/Malone Jazz to Rockets fans.
