Heypartner can never be unbiased when it comes to the Spurs. He's gonna carry that bitterness to his grave. It's sad really when you can't give respect and honor to a franchise who has done much for the sport.

I wont bother to find exact posts now (cuz I can't remember them)

but I remember weeks ago heyp contradicted himself BADLYwhen he bashed everyone for crediting Gregg Popovich and "overrating" his coaching influence, as though he's nothing but an empty figurehead on the sidelines.

Right after being on a pro-Kevin McHale campaign chastising all Rockets fans for NOT giving Coach McHale any credit for his coaching influence

When its very evident which team is more gm/front office led in its on-court strategy compared to direct coaching

I am not so sure about the rest but I can recall that the Clippers at least gave a game away in the last seconds by turning the ball so freakin awfully over.

It is just not funny anymore

Best game of the play-offs and one of the best game 7s I've ever seen recently. Both teams executed really well, both teams hit big shots and both teams played like men. I didn't see much crying from both teams and the referees were more than fair. The only call that they usually do not give is the one on Duncan on that 2pt shot by Paul in the last minute, they got lucky there.

How people say the Spurs beat themselves, bull****! The Spurs played a hell of a game, kept Griffin outside of the paint, there was not a single lob to DJ and the Clippers just made shot after shot. Green was awesome defensively, came up with some great blocks, team defense was good, Duncan was great, bench was good and they had 0 TOs in 19 minutes in the 2nd half + 9 offensive rebounds in the 4th alone! It just took a helluva performance by Chris Paul and 3pt shots by role players to overcome it. Some key defense as well.

Both teams deserved it, helluva series and hope the Clippers will play like this against us. There was very little whining and flopping going on.

A truly amazing game 7. Will definitely stick in my memory.

Both teams fought like they were in the WCF.

    Spurs are done!

Rockets are now the best team in Texas soon to be the best team in the West and best team in the NBA

Spurs are history, POp is history.

At first I didn't know who to root for, the Spurs or the Clippers. After constantly listening to Pop's one word answers to the media/reporters, I just got fed up. For that reason alone, it swayed me to root for the Clippers. I hope the Spurs are done. Hopefully they're not the the NBA's Indianapolis Colts (again) and suck 1 year, only to get a franchise player to build your team around going forward.

The clips hits 14 3s, and some of them where really lucky, so i dont think the spurs beat themselves i just think the clips where just 2 points better. Great game. Great Series. LEts beat the clippers now, paul looked injured and dead tired. They been playing 40+ mins all series long.

sigh. You are a sad San Antonio fan, posting here on a Rockets website. It's very obvious you like them more than your hometeam. It's like telling a Oilers/Texans fan they must give respect to Dallas and the Cowboy.

Go crawl in a hole somewhere, because Pops is done now that Duncan is. He will quit when Duncan does, because he knows he'll have issues dealing with normal players.

I will shoot San Antonio in the head if I had a gun. You guys just don't understand rivalry just. The Spurs suck. Duncan and Parker are solid players, and I've always given them respect. The Popovich can stick a fork in his face some more times, for all I care.

And you Spurs lovers are adorable in an infantile way how you prop him up on the pinnacle of basketball, as if he created Duncan.

No, I'm making a point about motion vs attack offenses. I'm making a point that Bobby Knight indeed invented motion, yet had serious flaws with player mgmt.

And I grew up in the cornfields of Ill where that offense was our religion, so just pause for a second, if what you are attempting is to question my knowledge of motion offenses.

Pops is running a motion offense, and he used to run an attack offense with Parker and Duncan and Ginobody. I'm just trying to say to people who think the previous titles was the same offense, that it is not. It was a rather common one (albeit Duncan afforded them extreme flexibility in added uncommon wrinkles), and highly effective and the correct one to run.

What exactly did I say that pissed you off. I am correct about Motion Offenses. I love them and respect them, but I also love to play defense to stop them. And I love many other offenses, too. Did that piss you off?

Don't glamorize them as if they are a silver bullet that can always win, and like every team should play them. It isn't and they shouldn't.

What are the flaws of Pop's motion offense?

I'm on a phone on the bay for some sailing, so can't do justice to responding to you and durvasa, who are two of my favorite guys to talk basketball with,,,maybe later

For now please note I never said pops offense has flaws. It is obviously a great one to implement for this team. My point is strictly about motion offenses have weaknesses in any incarnation. No disrespect to Pops in choosing this offense was intended

Let's not get defensive to think you need to defend pops to my discussion of the inherent weaknesses of motion. I give equal respect to defensive schemes, like Chaney's matchup zone at Temple, back in the day,,,designed to unravel it

Did you just call Clutch a dummy? I think you did. Why do you think he should ban me?

Btw: I wouldn't answer that question, if I were an Internet newbie like you, mr Jan 2015. I will only have much fun with you to great fan fare.

Yeah, it's only cool to irrationally hate the Mavs here.
