I was just looking at RealGM, and someone posted this on the Rockets page.

"Okay, wassup Rox fans. Was in ESPN.com, and located an articles someone posted claiming of a 15 player trade about to go down. I don't know how legit this rumor is, just thought you might wanna see it. I don't give a D@mn if you don't believe it, I'm questioning the rumor myself. Here's the article
    "
An inside source of the New York Times has reported of a blockbuster deal involving Philadelphia,New York, Houston, and Memphis. The deal involves 15 players. Technically, the trade does not work under the salary cap ,but draft picks and cash considerations will be involved. The deal is on the table. Also, the deal will send Jason Williams, Lorenzn Wright,Wesley Person, and Kelvin Cato to New York while Memphis will be receiving Kurt Thomas,Mike Sweetney,Travis Knight, and Cuttino Mobley.
The 15-player blockbuster trade is on the table and Eric Snow, Charlie Ward, Stromile Swift, and Mike Miller would be sent to Houston meanwhile Philadelphia would be acquiring Eddie Griffin, Moochie Norris, and Bostjan Nachbar. Although Philadelphia would be giving away only 1 player and in return getting 3 players majority of the picks and cash considerations would be from the 76ers.Memphis might also have to send Shane Battier to one of the teams possibly Houston or Philadelphia

that is the link and the page where it is on

Y THE *** DO WE ALWAYS WANNA TRADE MOBLEY

    "
The End, I am hoping this deal was to go through. The only reason I really like it is because we get a legit small forward. However, I don't know if the person who posted it is for real or a person with no life."

Anything posted on the espn boards or realgm boards has about a 2% chance of being a legit "rumor". No way these teams all trade half their team away.

I like what the Rockets get, though. If we only had a back-up center after we did this....

This might not be a bad trade if it were to go down. I like cato and would miss him but come on we paid him a starters contract we cant afford to keep him on the bench. we also get rid of moochies ridiculous contract, that in itself has got to count for something. Piatkowski now gets to start at his real position, we dont need that iso game anymore. we get a legit backup point guard a legit small forward, btwn miller and pike these guys can flat out shoot the rock. We also get a bigger body to play up front w/yao. So now we are just stuck w/one ridiculous contract on the books ( mo t ) and perhaps we set our selves up to be players for next years free agents versus having to wait 4-6 years before we have any flexibility. Its a reach but if you could add Elden Cambell as a backup center this has to a more formidable lineup then the one we currently have now.

    I'll say this again...

Don't create threads to refer to posts from some other forum, especially someplace as completely unreliable as ESPN.com.

Judging from the language, I'm sure it's a very credible source...

I don't like this trade at all. Miller is allways hurt, and the Rockets would lose both Miller and Swift in FA next year. Plus I don't want to trade Griffin or Boki. I'd pass. Getting Snow would be nice though.

We don't get sh$% in return, Swift and Charlie Ward aren't worth squat, we really only get Miller for al that
