Griffin was the main reason the Clippers were close in game 2 and game 5. You sound like if they didn't have Griffin, the Clippers would have won those games.

If Lin was that good last year, we would have been in the Finals.

I really don't want the Spurs to have a chance to replicate what we did in '95.

PLEASE LAC win the next two.

I voted Spurs in 6 and right now it looks like I'll be right... but I hope I'm wrong.

I'd rather have him there with Chandler Parsons and Devin Harris (a team that wouldn't do that well) then have him playing with CP3 and Blake. Him going to the Mavs makes them marginally better and makes the Clips far weaker. Leaving us benefitting the most.

I might get lynched for saying this but its hard to NOT root for the spurs, even as a Rockets fan.

I mean how can you not like Duncan and Leonard.

Spurs would probably be a better match up for the Rockets. I cant imagine what CP3 would do to our pgs.

Lol wut? Man's the king of complaining.....that whole team is a bunch of whiners and it starts with Doc.

    "I don't complain much....but when I do it's on every play...."

I used to think that about the Spurs, but it's not necessarily true.

You can out-talent them or use athleticism.

Miami was pretty average at times against the Spurs, and manage to beat them on a record low free throw attempts (w/ LeBron, not playing so well in 3 games).

OKC has had their number, when healthy.

They have matchup problems against younger, athletic teams or teams who tend to have more go-to scorers with some roster depth.

A 70% Rockets team is going to give them fits. Imagine if the Rockets had Motiejunas and Beverly. It would've been a nightmarish matchup, all together. They don't have enough players to guard Howard, Smith, and Jones, as it is.

The Rockets still are tougher matchup for them than the Clippers.

Duncan (w/Diaw and whoever) against Dwight, Jones, and Smith favors the Rockets.

Houston has Brewer, Ariza, and Smith to clamp down on the perimeter.

I guess coaching evens the scale.

Why not? Jordan is overrated as **** and he will probably want a max contract which the Mavs have to give him, after all they ponied up the max for Parsons who is inferior to Jordan. As another person said Jordan to mavs makes them marginally better while making Clips substantially worse = net win for us.

And hack-a-Jordan will happen and not sure if Jordan is that much better than Tyson.

Spurs have a way of being in games in the Fourth because of their bench play keeps them in games. IF the Spurs are to be the match up for the Rockets, it will be the bench play that will decide the series. I am hoping this time off the team can get the bigs to work on their FTs.

I don't dislike the Spurs, I'm just tired of them. Those old geezers need to retire already and give everybody else a chance to win.

Yeah they are stopping young stars joining them and the only hope is snatch another Leonard in the middle of the first round

And Leonard is arguably no No 1 option.

Spurs are probably my favorite team outside (far outside of course) of the Rockets.

Amazing team basketball, champions, Texas team.

Duncan is a legend, playing out of his mind at 39, Ginobili and Parker are still very fun to watch even though they have fallen off quite a bit, Leonard is amazing, their bench players (Mills, Green, Diaw, Splitter) are all very good, and of course Pops is awesome.

Class team and organization. I have always rooted for them outside of what's in the Rockets best interest.
