Let's hope the home crowd gives them an edge, but my God...what an atrocity these last two games were.

Never seen a team wail after an obvious foul call like the Mavs. I mean, everyone in the organization, from Cubes to the coaches to the players to the trainers to the ball boys, carrying on like they're the freaking cast of Les Miserables.

Bev was just average on D this year but Prigs and Terry are way below average. We miss Bev

Umm, this post is directed to the "championship teams close them out" comment. Don't be getting pissed at me- get pissed at those people who, as usual, have little to zero perspective.

People always accuse Harden of having no killer instinct or sense of urgency. He's a patient player. He rarely tries to force things. Him going slower than others is not an indictment against him.

Once again...you give up 120 points, you're gonna lose 98 times out of 100. Maybe if the team, including Harden, gave a damn defensively, they'd have swept. Sadly, they didn't.

Monta Ellis shot 28% from three this season on 3 attempts. He is shooting 42% from three this postseason on 6 attempts.

Aminu is shot 27% from three this season on 2 attempts. He is shooting 60% on the same amount of attempts in the playoffs.

We can look at this two ways.

    1) The law of averages should catch up to them soon. Expect bricks soon.
    2) Maybe the law of averages doesn't apply when all they shoot are open threes. ;)

Ok, newsflash to some of you - it makes perfect sense to say they sucked tonight and that we should have won. That's a normal reaction. Here's what is not normal:

    1. Championship teams don't do stuff like this.

    2. Harden is not a true MVP.

    3. Howard sucks (not "sucked tonight", sucks overall)

You guys make it unbearable to be a fan. Out.

Let's break the team apart... trade everyone..

The whole team other than Brewer and Smith were garbage. The Rockets didn't compete out there tonight. I think they thought to themselves after getting up 12 early on that Dallas was gonna lay down and when that didn't happen, they discovered that you can't just flip a switch and turn it on.

The Mavs shot about as well as they could, the Rockets shot about as badly as they could(other than the aforementioned Brewer and Smith), they were outrebounded horribly by the worst rebounding team in the league, Dwight was a joke from the foul line, and yet they were still within single digits in the 4th quarter on the road.

The Rockets just need to come out focused and engaged like they did in Game 1 and this will be over on Tuesday.

You can't even blame McHale for this mess tonight. The players just didn't bother trying on D what so ever

Yeah, that was a microcosm of the game. If you're playing lazy D and you're not hustling, that's what happens. The 2nd chance points were the difference in the game.

In the grand scheme of things, this is an ok loss. It exposes us, gives us a free chance to address some more of our flaws. So far McHale has adjusted better than last year. Every team in the nba is pretty even on talent, just separated by a few players. They had players step up today in desperation and our players played less focused. We took their very best punch, lost by 12 on the road in the biggest game of their season while scoring 5 points in 10 minutes. I think we will be alright.
