With DMo and Bev we would have won 4 of our first 3 games.

    These so-called fans be like

"We suck! Harden can't step up in playoffs! we will never get out of the first round...up 2-0 in the series..pfft not holding my breath because we haven't seen Mavericks play at home yet"

---> Rockets win 1st round ---> "I love this team! Never doubted them for a second!"

Its annoying when people try to bring up such pessimistic views. What is the point of being a fan if you believe your team is going to lose every time and never succeed in the face of adversity? Furthermore; I would find a championship quite devalued if I never believed throughout the season and playoffs that they had a shot and always ****-talked because I was being a "realist".

We are suppose to be Rockets fans. Cheer for your team and believe they can do anything. If they don't even make the playoffs then you should still believe theyre going to win the championship because that is what fans do.

Calm yourself sir. Being a fan doesn't mean being delusional. Fans come in many kinds.

Personally I find a championship to be even more meaningful if you didn't expect it to happen, and if you realize the adversity for what it is. That's where we disagree I guess.

Loyal Rockets fans have been kicked in the gut repeatedly since 1997. I love this team, but I won't say I never doubted them for a second - I doubt them every much. One game at a time!
