Do his financiers and overseas audiences? Dude still pulls a solid nine figures, like just about every Sandler or Scary/Spoof Movie ever.

I wonder if he's considered directing a bollywood flick...it'd be the weirdest crappiest movie ever...

His movies still make money, especially internationally.

This film only has a $5M budget. It will definitely turn a profit.

When I heard "It's probably best you two shouldn't come out of your room after that" I thought the grandpa and grandma were going to get their freak on after 9:30.

As part of the boomer generation, I can totally relate to this.

How much his movies make is a bit debatable. They're not flops financially, but it's possible they may just break even when you factor in marketing and how much profit they make from overseas ticket sales.

I just think at this stage, studios would be a little less willing to give him full reign. I'd actually like to see what he could do with a good scrip that's not his own. It's very similar to how I feel about Neill Blomkamp. Talented director, but shortcomings as a writer.

M Night Shamalamailman remains as the best trailer maker of our generation.

Just saw it. Shmalamailman is good at finding young talent.

The twist was OK. Not nearly as good as the Last Airbender though.

60 mil box office vs 5 mil in costs. M Night will be allowed to direct some more.
