I didn't see any ref bias in that game. I watched all of it. It was called pretty fairly on both sides. Mills got fouled on that game tying lay up attempt, there's no arguing that. Heck, even Chris Paul, who always complains, just shook his head after he fouled him.

The Clippers just lost that game fair and square.

I gained a lot of respect for Blake Griffin tonight. It's the first time in his entire career where I felt like that he was on a mission to get the win at any cost.

This loss was to me on chris paul, you get that open of a shot in regulation and you are an allstar, you better make it.

^ I want to pin this loss on Matt Barnes and his terrible finish (bricked FTs, poor defense, etc) but in truth he's just a role player.

The real blame has to go to Blake and his horrific turnovers. What a choke job! Thus may have been his greatest playoff performance but everyone will remember that disastrous finish.

It is not about making that shot 100% when it counts... but the Turnover before it.

You cut down those mistakes at a crucial moment and the team is better off

To be fair, Timmy had his length all over CP3's shot.

If the Clippers had won this game, the writing on the wall will be :

    1. Spurs choked away a 10 points lead down the stretch.
    2. Costly turnover in the last 30 seconds sealed their fate.

Bottom line, both team deserve to lose this game, both choked badly in the clutch time.

Joey Crawford is the ref that threw Tim Duncan out of the game for laughing on the bench, and now he has a bias towards the spurs?

Watch the replay. That was an obvious foul. Paul ran by him and hit his elbow with his hand.

Awesome game. Just watched the recording. Here's to hoping for 5 more games like that!

Lots of plays caused the Clippers to lose. Not one player.

Barnes missing FTs and 2 put backs in one sequence. Blake with a HUGE HUGE turnover that allowed Spurs to tie it, then more TOs in the OT.

It's going to game 7. These 2 teams are too good. Whoever wins this series will go to the WCF.

That is awesome. Looks like CP3's whiny mentality has completely overtaken the Clippers just like when he played for the Hornets.

The doubleheader Friday is going to be great. Gotta get off work early.

Chris Paul absolutely destroyed Tony Parker last night.

Too bad they have Matt Barnes, who is terrible.

This is random, but what is it with the refs not wanting to give the 3 free throws on those intentional fouls?

I've seen this happen to the Rockets a few times, too... one recently where the dude shot it from like half-court... may have been last game, can't recall. It wasn't an intentional foul, but a foul at half court and maybe it was Brewer or somebody basically went up to throw it to the rim as he figured out he was getting fouled? Why is that not three shots, yet a dude can get fouled on a drive by the three point line, and they'll allow continuation for a shot that happens a second and a half later at the rim??

I'm not saying it would have mattered last night... dude would have missed anyway.... but that was clearly a 3 shot foul. It's like the refs say in that one instance "oh, he only shot it because he was getting fouled, so the shot shouldn't be recognized here!". Um, yeah, that happens all the time.

What if Jordan had made the shot? It was a shot...

    Here it is:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mB7gnSfTUR0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Perhaps there was the slightest of slightest delays between the actual foul and Jordan starting his shot. The whistle certainly wasn't blown until the ball was in the air. But again, even if the whistle was blown sooner, again, a player can be driving the lane, CLEARLY not looking to shoot, get fouled and pretend like they were attempting to shoot, and they get the 2 shots 99% of the time.

    Why is the above different?

Like I said. The clippers have almost no chance unless Duncan gets injured.

I've said this for a few years now. The clippers will never go anywhere with CP3 as their best player. Griffin needs to take the leadership role on this team.

Both choked badly, but the Spurs' recovery in OT was impressive.

    Without Parker
    Without Ginobli
    Without Splitter
Duncan already with 5 fouls and over 42 minutes. Just after losing 10 point lead with 6:40 to go. On opponent's court.

I thought they had no chance.
