I'd love to see Anderson being guarded by Iverson like last year where Anderson went off for 30 pts. I just can't possibly see Iverson guarding Mobley. I look for a big night for Anderson tonight. And when you think about it, this may be the whole reason Shandon only got 12 minutes last night. Rudy might be doing the trade-nights ploy due to this heavy schedule. Shandon will be fresh!!!
The better question is who will guard Francis? Look for at least 30 from Francis tonight. ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. This restless craving in the souls of men spurs them to climb, and to seek the mountain view. -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
If Iverson guards Anderson like last year, we are likely going to feature that, more than Francis. Anderson got low post after low post last year. Ratliff can't help on that as easily as he can help on the Francis/Mobley drives and pnrs. That's why I think Anderson vs Iverson is the key question. Who will Iverson guard? haven't phili been starting Lynch, Kukoc, Ratliff, McKie and Iverson lately so it looks like Iverson will get Mobes or Steve??? ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
My guess is Iverson on Mobes. Which means no less than 20 shot attempts by Cuttino. I have a sinking feeling that Iverson is going to score 40+ and Cat will shoot a very low percentage. But if Anderson gets 20+ and Steve and Cat can stay in the upper teens, I think we'll be okay. Gonna be a tough game though. ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
When you say you can't see Iverson guarding Mobley, is that because Larry Brown wouldn't do that, or because both are so quick it would be physically impossible to see them? ------------------
