I like these Pelicans. But, Ws got this. The Pelicans wing players just won't deliver.

Well, Warriors in 6 although I can see Pelicans take it in 7.

    Pelicans players are getting healthy.
Davis is gonna tear up Draymond Green.
Omer Asik, if he can play like he did last year at all, bogut got nothing on him.
Series will depend on how Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson play.

Sorry, this may be a r****ded question. I really haven't been following the NBA at all this season.. but my coworkers were talking about the Warriors and saying they have like the best defense in the nba.

This struck me as odd.. because to my knowledge they have always been pathetic on defense. Are they really that good (and how)?

They are, they just play really good team D and have a few great individual defenders (Bogut, Draymond, Iggy, Klay).

I just want the Pelies to wear GS out as much as possible. At least make GS work for the victory.

    Dear Clutch/admins:

Can you sticky all the playoff game match threads to the top so we don't have to constantly scroll to find them?

They had the 3rd best defense last year and the best defense this year.

Jumpshooting teams are always susceptible and when you play a team like golden state in the regular season you can't really prepare enough to beat them.

I don't suspect that Klay Thompson and Curry are going to find such accommodating teams letting them shoot without getting hit often.

Just like Harden last year, teams are going to find a way to take one of the splash bros out of the series.

Pels will get killed today. Don't know if it happens early, but at some point the Warriors will explode on them.

That's why I think anyone could beat them in a series. If either one of their shots don't fall they are kinda screwed

I think Pelicans will make this a more interesting series than OKC. OKC would have gotten swept. I do feel the Pelicans have the best player in this series in Anthony Davis which makes this series intriguing. Warriors will very likely win the series though.

    I'm picking an upset today.

I think Curry will struggle today but will have a 2 minute stretch where he hits everything and ESPN will replay that. But otherwise Klay will keep them in the game but I think Davis will totally control this game and the Peilican's key role players like Anderson or Evans will be the determining factor.

Warrior in the making... aka Anthony Davis.

    I see Pelicans in 6 or 7.

    I hope.

You couldn't make this line high enough. Oracle Arena is gonna consume the Pelicans. Warriors are gonna dominate.
