This is why the Spurs have to win games early on, the games in January and February. 11 games straight alone is not gonna cut it anymore
They've had a lot of injuries this year , most importantly Leonard missed weeks to deal with hand injury. Mills had his rotator cuff surgery and was not himself until very recently. Diaw was not as good although that turned around recently too. They had to play the Pels without Tiago Splitter who has been out for a whike. Will likely start playoffs without him too. It sounds like one constant in their season has been Duncan who has been consistently great Still though they are one of the teams I would least want to face in the playoffs
That comes with age. People get more injury prone with age and some new guys will experience first major injuries. That is absolutely normal.
The Rockets had their injuries too. In fact, far more. The Spurs didn't play to win, they played to rely on some magic win streak like they did in the past and failed. To the regular season victor go the spoils. We get the Mavs and they have to play a Clippers team almost as hot as the Spurs were. I prefer our chances and the spurs and all their fans can **** it!
