    Right. There is no way you can run from the cops in a vehicle nowadays. On foot is a different story if you have the right resources.

    blood pooled on the ground fast.

    really not a fan of police protocol for these things, whatever the hell it is. there are ample opportunities every time for the cops to ram/push the idiot's car. if you're going to chase the guy, put yourself at risk instead of the various effloads of innocents that are at risk (as we just saw) by letting these idiots fly through red lights at 90 mph.
