I want the Griz to lose twice, the Nuggets to beat the Clippers and the Spurs to beat NO. Result: Rockets with 3rd seed playing a banged-up and slumping Memphis, staying away from GSW and LAC in second round and we keep the 14th pick.
So if the Grizz lose tonight and Wednesday, and the Spurs lose on wednesday, where does that put the Spurs in the standings? 3rd or 5th?
so many key games that will essentially determine the seeding on the last day of the regular season. Wednesday will be nuts... OKC @ Wolves Spurs @ NOP and ofcourse Jazz@HOU
I'd be ok with that, but I'd still prefer the 2nd seed. I want to see the Grizzlies lose tonight and the Spurs lose on Wednesday. Correct me if I'm wrong but if that happens and the Clippers win out and Grizzlies beat Indiana, does that mean the 3-6 matchup is LA vs. San Antonio? I would love to see that.
Folks will have to decide between the 2 seed/rested Mavs/18th pick (Spurs loss) and the 5th pick/crippled Blazers/14th pick (Pels loss) <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p>Chris Kaman confirms: He tweaked his back.</p>— Joe Freeman (@BlazerFreeman) <a href="https://twitter.com/BlazerFreeman/status/587806621050372096">April 14, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
GUYS! I figured it out! This is what we all need to be rooting for... Memphis loss tonight and wednesday, Spurs loss Wednesday, Clippers win out. This will leave: 2- HOU 3- LAC 4- POR 5- SAS 6- MEM 7- DAL Wouldn't that be amazing if SAS and GSW play in the 2nd round? If MEM can beat LAC in the first round for us, I could see us potentially going to the WCF.
man this sucks, i really want to play the Blazers now just to sweep them lol but the "easier" road to the WCF is through the 2 seed......
If we're being honest, we don't beat either. However...I am in the camp that we would be better against SAS, as we simply have more matchup/athletic advantages.
Well, we did only lose to the Spurs by one the other night. We haven't been anywhere near that close to the Warriors in any of the 4 games(although in fairness, Dwight didn't play in 2 of them).
Another Spencer Hawes at best. He is weak on rebounds, no inside game, slow on defense and just recently developed an OK 3 point game to at least will get a contract passing his 4th years.
