I just saw Rodman on the Best Damn Sports Show ever and he was asking for another chance in the NBA. He says he doesn't care about the money... I know I will get flamed for this, but I couldn't help but wonder if he can actually outplay our current cast of Mo Taylor and Eddie. I mean those two are NOT playing the 4 the way is should be played to begin with... Both guys seem to think they are small forwards or something. Sometimes I look at Mo Taylor and the guy looks out of shape. Griff sometimes just looks like so uninspired to play. Anyway, it would be interesting to see, if Rodman at 42 would come in and be more productive at the power forward than our current cast. In my opiniont the guy could probably out play our 4s on DESIRE ALONE. Sad to say.

    H-Town,
We have already had two threads on the Rockets and Rodman possibilities in the past week or so but if we could get him and he could keep out of trouble I think he would help the team with its toughness and rebounding.

He would definitely sell tickets, add more rebounding, and distractions for the young team.

I like how Rodman announced that he was "coming back" to the NBA. Doesn't someone have to want you first?

Hey, I'm coming back to the NBA too!

Rodman can still grab 12 rebounds a game and lock down KG or Duncan, dont knock him cuz he's crazy.

    You know this?

Come on, man, this fellow is old and drugged and spent, and unlikely to be a teammate anywhere.

Let him re-sign and party with Cubes.

Damn, after seeing those pics of Dirk and Nash wasted, I'm sure Rodman would fit right in.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. His rebounds will just allow Stevie, and Cat to get more shots and make up for their lousy outside shooting. Yao and Rodman could easily swing 30 rebounds a night by themselves. Yikes!

    Bingo!!

He was a pitiful joke 2 years ago with the Mavs and even Mark Cuban admitted as much. Come to think of it, this thread is a joke ;)

Didn't he get kicked off both of the last two teams he played for in less than 25 games? Just say no to wormz.

I can't believe people actually think that Rodman would want to be on our team. I mean, I don't really see him coming onto a team with a taskmaster like Van Gundy running the show. I can see the first practice...

JVG: Rodman, you missed a layup. Take a lap.

Worm: I'm Dennis Rodman. I wear wedding dresses and date p*rn stars. I do what I want!

    JVG: You're FIRED!

Rodman doesn't score. Mo is needed for his jumpshot...and Eddie is still young. If people don't know the Rockets improved in the rebounding department. If yao comes back with more bulk and confidence our rebounding shortfalls will be solved...so to answer your question, NO Rodman would not be more effective than Griff and Mo.
