Them & the Mavs are the only two teams the Rockets have a good chance to beat with HCA.

Blazers are clutch as hell in close games and lead the league in comebacks in the 4th. Pretty much the antithesis of the Rockets.

Can you imagine a LAC-HOU series?

We will hack Jordan and they can choose whoever they want to hack.

McFail doesn't understand the hack strategy, or any strategy.

What do we have? A week between the end of the regular season and the playoffs. Practicing free throws is not energy intensive. After EVERY practice your bigs need to shoot 200-300 free throws. Bring in Calvin, Berry, a Priest. I don't care. We need to negate that lame strategy and burn some people with it.

Last night proved to me that we can hang with the Spurs. If we can hang with them, we can hang with anybody who's not Golden State.

Sorry man but hanging with a team is like the Texans way of good job guys! 6-7 win season is an accomplishment. Being mediocre doesn't do it. No excuses.

Yeah, they hanged us out to dry too.

I would like to be optimistic too, but until we get evidence that the Rockets know what they're doing when opponents go into another gear ...

Historical evidence indicates we will not have a good gameplan for the playoffs. AGAIN.

2nd seed is probably out of reach although still possible.
    http://www.mavsmoneyball.com/2015/4...pdate-mavericks-first-round-playoff-scenarios

But even 5th seed would be alright - home court against Blazers

In fact even 6th seed if they face the Grizz , not a disaster.

    --
    They're still going to playoffs
There is still a chance Harden has a great playoffs
If they bomb in playoffs, there is still a chance McHale is fired ;)

    Remember to enjoy the ride.
Rockets still have two of top ten players in League and next year will be better.

Lmao, we've won twice as many games as we've lost this year. I swear some of ya'll just get off to being pessimistic and contrarian. I'm sure you'll be rooting for us to lose so you can make a thread and gloat about how right you were and how we're all stupid for believing in the team and not you and your basketball expertise.

It is obvious that the Rockets need another playmaker on this team to really be a serious contender. Morey has to find one this summer. Also, a big who can shoot FTs. If this team makes it to the 2nd rd, that would be a success for this season.

I still don't understand why Morey traded for Prigioni. This team is going no where in the playoffs. Dwight Howard looks lost, we have no point guard depth, Beard plays bad in the playoffs and Kevin Mcfail is terrible.

Every season plenty of teams win over 50 games but that's not what we care about. We want playoff success which is something we haven't really had in 20 years. I'm glad you're contempt with regular season success though...

We lost to The Spurs today because:
    •Missed Free Throws.
    •Turnovers.
    •Minutes Restriction on Dwight.
    •Poor substitutions.
    •Lack of Plays
    &
•Yes, there was some horrible officiating...but that's out of our control.

Free Throws...we miss 19 & not 21 and we're the 2nd seed, Life is good, Harden is MVP, we are championship caliber.

Unfortunately we lost so now everyone's knee jerk reaction is 6th Seed, Life sucks, Curry is MVP, Were going to get swept in the first round, I love Baseball, will we get a hockey team...

Spurs are the hottest team in the league at the moment.

We held Parker to 2 points.

We outplayed the Spurs in basically every way out there except Free Throws.

Dwight was only allowed to play 26 minutes...and once again he dominated while he was out there.
Playoffs he will be playing unrestricted minutes.

Harden was effectively taken out of the game by Hacka...Hacka.

We actually came out better statistically from the Hacka...Hacka, but reality was that the ball was taken out of Harden's hands, there goes his 3's, And 1's and 90% Free Throw shooting...so as Pop said, it hurt us.

    Want to win?
Stop turning the ball over, stop throwing dumb passes and get back in transition.
    Simple...in theory.

Need to run some screen plays, back door cuts and curls to get Harden some easy catch and shoot situations instead of leaving him to create every shot.

Yes the Refs hurt us, on more than just that last play, which was a foul btw...even if Timmy touched the ball first.
Howard was hit with some horrendous calls...as usual.

But unless McHale gets a technical, throws a chair onto the court or Harden punts the Ball into the stands...the officiating is out of our hands.
So don't put the game in their hands.

So can we win it all?
    •Make our Free Throws.
    •Don't turn the ball over.
    •Get back on D.
•Run a few plays to get Harden open looks.
    •Play Dwight unrestricted minutes.
    •Box Out.
•Play the full 48...we tend to sleepwalk at the end of Quarters & after the Halftime break.

If we can do that, we can go all the way and we can win it all!

2 Free Throws & we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
