Leonard didn't make any trap he got blown out by the 3ptline and gave Harden a trip to his left, he got save by Duncan.

Leonard can't guard Harden too slow.

Sometimes they call it, sometimes they do not.

which is why even if its ruled incorrect it will have an asterisk, you probably need freeze framing to see the foul. Duncan thru his career has been really good at just tapping someone's arm enough to alter the shot, it actually seemed a bit like he hit him too hard because that shot was weird as hell

I think Harden's reaction was akin to, well that **** just happened again oh well

    Thats playoff clean.

Harden and Rockets fans better prepare for that type officiating right now.

If we're going to complain this hard after a pretty typical regular season no-call, things are going to get ugly in the playoffs.

Looking at that replay it seems like Duncan grazes the ball with his fingers but then comes down on Harden's forearm and wrist on the follow through. That's a call Harden gets 70% of the time during the game. But we all know how refs don't call contact at the end of games.

It's a foul, but not as obvious as the other one though.

i can agree with that. separate from tonight's call/no-call there should definitely be a way of holding refs accountable.

    won't happen anytime soon though.

Amazed that folks see a "clean block" on this play.

    Not even close to clean.

That is exactly what happened last year during playoffs. This is why it really hurts not to have Dmo.

definitely a foul... can't argue with the call because it's not really given in late game situations (memphis game). hopefully james develops a floater or something to counter potential late game situations like this. wasn't the reason we lost anyways.

Which is funny because they just gave Utah the call that they didn't give us in two big games...

They call fouls at the end of the game, remember Cleveland game too? Lebron had a bunch of calls that could have won or tied the game.

    It's just that...Harden doesn't get these calls.

Maybe I'm missing something here. I agree this is a game we should not have let get to this point. But how is this unclear in anyway? It's a foul and I expect the report to confirm that. Maybe this is like the blue dress gold dress picture, but I don't see Duncan even touching the ball at any point what so ever.

    Overall I agree with this.

HArden had to go in harder than he did, trying to lay it up off the back board like that...yeesh.

Guy is 25, he's still one of the best closers today (numbers back this) so hopefully he learns from his mistakes here.

If you going to go in, go in hard. This is the time to actually BULL someone over like Lebron because they won't call anything (mostly because NBA refs suck) and if they do call anything it'll be on the defender for being in the way of a dunk.

Go in weak like that (and that was weak) then you give them a chance to ignore whatever contact there is.

Either that or do your step back.

Let's wait tomorrow to see what the NBA says though it is too late to reverse the call.

What sucks is if houston could make a ****ing free throw this one wouldn't have even been close... Yes it's a foul, but in final 2 minutes/playoffs you gotta go all in, he should have just dunked it or hell even did a jump shot rather than that weak **** since refs are equally not as likely to call an offensive foul.

I'm not looking forward to the playoffs atm... This always seems to happen in the last few games of the season (hard work followed up with big collapse when it matters). I mean maybe they'll still have a shot but these last few weeks haven't looked great. I really hope Howard can play more minutes in the playoffs.

Where does he get the ball? If he even scrapes the ball it comes out of his hand before he touches his arm. The reason this is ridiculous, is an MVP candidate of a team trying to win their division gets screwed twice in the last seconds against the 2 teams their fighting to win the division against. It's BS, and I've never seen another star in a similar situation get screwed like that twice at the end of the game. I've been an NBA fan since 1985.
